Hey all, got a silly question,
do all the excursions get booked up by the CC members before us newbies get a opportunity to make ressies?

We want to do the dolphin encounter on St. Martin, but cant book till 75 days prior, will we have a shot at it or will it be booked up by the time I get around to booking. I am not getting up at 2:45 am to book :crazy2: ( well I dont think so anyway)?

They will hold a bunch back, but you definitely want to get online and book right at 75 days out. I will be booking DW and my stuff right at 90 days, and the rest of our group will be booked right at 75 days out.

Attention Everyone

I'm putting a list together of everyone on this cruise so we can all get an idea of who is going, names, etc, before we sail. If you would be so kind (if you havent already) please go ahead and either post the names/ages of those in your party, as well as the room numbers that they're in? If you want to PM them to me too, that's fine :)

Ours is:

Room Number Category Lead Name Spouse Other Child Child

6524 8 Stuart Melissa
6526 8 Patricia Adam (DS11) Andrew (DS9)
6528 6 Jim Melanie Hunter (DS2)
6530 6 John Michele Janyn (DD7)

Of course, the spreadsheet looks a lot nicer. :)

Not long to go now!

Don't know room #26something

Tim
DD Elizabeth 15
DS Nick 10

Final payment is due soon...ahhh If I want to do 90 days out I think it is due on April 8th. Been checking on all my excursions..can't wait!! My kids want to do the same Eagle Catamaran as last time we were in St. Martin. Looking a private sail boat for st. thomas, then kids can fish and snorkel. CC parasailing..booked 2x..cancelled 2x..third time a charm?!?

Our clan is finally paid in full with everything. Woohoo.

105 day marker is 03/25/2006 - So, Jim, you should be able to book in now since you're in the Cat 1! :Pinkbounc

90 day marker for those in CC is 04/09/2006.

75 day marker for our first timers is 04/24/2006.

Keep in mind you must be paid in full to book anything!

We have chartered the Marlin Prince in St. Thomas (marlinprince period"dot" com) for a fishing excursion for our group. It should be a lot of fun.

I believe for excursions we are looking at the Bubba fishing, Thriller Powerboat, Caribbean Duck Tour, Mountain Bikes, Marlin Prince Deep Sea Fishing (booked privately), Parasailing, Stingrays, and Eco-Tour at CC. Of course, this isnt for our whole party. We'll be scattered all over! :)

Alright folks, just incase you all forgot, and maybe because it's Friday and I want to celebrate but - we are now, FINALLY:

DOUBLE DIGIT DANCING!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

party: party: party:

:jumping1::jumping1:

:dancer::rockband::dancer::rockband:

i can't believe it is almost here...yeah!! :cool1: :cool1:

where is everybody?

since we can book palo soon wanted to know if anybody wants to do tea with me? don't think my dh will want to go, last year we cancelled it. this will probably be our last dcl cruise so really want to do this finally!

I'm arranging a high tea for the "ladies" in our group. Did you have a day in mind? I havent (yet) drawn up a schedule for our week, however I do have everyone's intentions written down. What were you thinking? I'm going to be booking as much as I can using our early Castaway Club booking access, and the rest I'll do at 3am, 75 days out.

Silly question...I will also be on the July 8th cruise (1st timers!!!)...at what time can we book via the internet on April 24th...I assumed midnight EST, but I see alot of talk about 3AM...is that true? Is that to accomodate the pacific coasters? Thanks in advance! :cool1:

Rumor has it at 3AM, yuck!! I hate morning..but for DCL I can do it. Now to decide what to do when. I really think the Villas in the spa are awesome but wow the price. Do know we want Palo brunch and dinner too.

Now that cruise is officially paid for I am so :woohoo: happy!! :Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc :woohoo:

Now where is everybody who has posted? My DD was hoping to meet a few new friends before hand. No such luck, I know they are out there.

Better get back to work to pay for the spa...

I tried to get my nephew who is 15 to post to the thread she started but he is kind of shy. Sorry! I really wanted him to get to know a few people also because he will be the only teen in our group.

yes...I SHOULD have been able to book things on that date. But, sadly, I just got off the phone with DCL ....and.....gave up that wonderful Walt Suite.

Business obligations will keep us from going in July. We are really sad about this and, obviously waited to the last minute to cancel in case anything changed. I was so looking forward to sharing that room with all of you. So if anyone is waitlisted for a CAt1...stay by the phone!

Again, sorry we will not be cruising with you. Now I have to tell DD Taylor (6)....this will be the hard part! But I at least moved the reservation to the 10 day Holiday cruise in December so we still have that to look forward to. Wonder if that Cat6 I have now has a piano in it?

Wish you all a wonderful, fun, sunny, happy, magical cruise!!!! I'll keep up with this post and maybe just dream we will be going with you.

Jim

Jim,

So sorry we won't get to see you!

Maybe look into one of the Med cruises. DW and I are on the Westbound Transatlantic Ship of Fools! Have a look!

Well, I got most of the reservations I wanted however for St. Martin I didn't see the Thriller Powerboat or the Caribbean Duck. I will have to look on these ones specifically with DCL via phone.

Ugh, Im going to bed. its 4am.

i can't get palo to reserve anything for me and the dcl gals said i have to call in the morning..ahhhhh

i did get a spa villa...yeah!!

So we got the following:

Palo Dinner - Wednesday - 6pm
Palo Brunch - Monday - 1100am
High Tea - Thursday - 300pm

Also made ressies for:

CC Stingrays - 10am
CC Parasailing - 1200pm
CC Ecotour - 245pm
StM Island Drive - 1pm

Of course we have our off-site excursion with http://www.marlinprince.com in St Thomas, too. :woohoo:

Finally it worked..I had to close almost every security/virus/malware product I have but it worked!

I am also doing High Tea at 3pm on Thursday, since my DH probably won't go with me if anybody wants to join me let me know.

Booked a bunch of other stuff but it's all subject to change. I can't believe I forgot to do this last night. Now I am glad I didn't, I slept and still there were plenty of times. Only think I didn't get was Wildside for my daughter. I will keep trying.

Can you believe I am waitlisted for late dinner! The DCL rep said she's never heard of that, doesn't think it will be a problem getting late since everybody always wants early..Weird!! Maybe an older crowd on this trip.

Well to all the rest of you Good Luck on your reservations! I heard 40% of Palo is saved for onboard booking so don't fret to much.

Marie

Who is in for an onboard meet? First day, deck 10 in front of stacks? Let me know...

That's going to be a busy area on the first day. What about the secret deck 7 Verandah around 3pm on Embarkation day?

I am up for a meet!

Congrats on all of your ressies! I hope I can get my family in for the Palo brunch. That is the main thing at Palo that I am interested in.

I may join you for the high tea (even though I am not really a tea drinker). Just let me see how my ressies go.

I cannot wait until we set sail! :cool1:
