JULY 8TH 2006 - Eastern Magic - 070806 - 07082006 - 20060708

Glad everybody is happy with reservations.

Looks like a bunch of us will be doing the Stingray Adventure at 10:00am. I wonder how many they have at a time?

Back to the meets..

I still vote for in front of the stack, level 10 during the sail away party. Who wants to join me?

We can also do a meet on Sunday Deck 7 at sometime, maybe mid morning around 10am, for those who miss sail away party.

I am so excited about being back on the Magic. My DD is already negotiating her curfew. I hope there are alot of great teens onboard! It's always a good day when the 15 y/o is happy.

Im afraid I will have to pass on the sail-away-party meet. Im going to be busy with the rest of our party that are all first timers and wont be able to break away for this.

I would love to get together and meet. This is my first time on the Magic but I have cruised before so hopefully it won't take me long to get accustomed to the boat. Not sure what the rest of my family will do without me (just kidding). I can meet you there before the sail away party for a bit before getting back with my kids to watch the singing and dancing!

Can you believe it is almost May already?!?!!? My whole family is getting excited. :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc I cannot believe school is almost out.

Only 72 more days!! Yeah! Is it time to start packing yet?!?!

I too do not think I can make a meet during the sail away party. I am in a group of 9 and they all want to attend that party - me too since it is my frist cruise in 20 years.

Does anyone know what time the meet the character or welcome aboard breakfast is on Sunday? We made Polo brunch ressies (only day left) at 10:30 and I really dont want to miss the other breakfast.

Nobody would be missing the party. The stage is on deck 9. The stack is on deck 10 that overlooks the stage. It's actually is a great place to be during the sailaway party. Large area to dance and gather. Trust me I would NEVER miss the Sailaway party!! We can meet on deck 9 if you'd rather. It just gets extremely crowded!! I've done it both ways.

oh, ok great. I will try to get up to deck 10 and if it is a better place to be then thats even better.
I am a newbie and will need hand holding every step of the way.
My brother a 3rd timer will be our tour guide I am sure, so I will see if I can dich him, Like when we were kids :rotfl2: if he wont cooperate.

Anyone for that welcome aboard breakfast time?????????

Sorry, again, Im going to be with 10 other people ranging from 2 to 65 and Im not going to drag all of them up to deck 10 during the sail away party and/or break away from them. It's also going to be pretty darn loud up there and it will be hard to hear each other. If it was later/earlier when things werent as hectic then I could break away, but if its going to be during the sail-away, then Im afraid Im out. :rolleyes1

Our ship is full...

I called DCL to find out about Florida Resident Rates on our sailing (there are non). The cm told me our ship is full. If I switch dates I can get a Cat 6 for same price as my Cat 9 and my son could play on the baseball all-star team. Only problem is there are not Eastern cruises with FRR and we don't have an interest in Western.

Decisions, Decisions.....

Yup I noticed a similar thing, however the online ressie system seems to still let you book.

For the 11 of us, with 4 staterooms (two x cat 6 and two x cat 8) since we booked originally in October 2004, the price for all four rooms is now about $10,500 more!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

So are you thinking of not going now?

We are going....almost sure we are keeping the July 8th date. My son and hubby would love to do allstars but DH really doesn't want western cruise. No cruise is NOT an option. Didn't realize that ours is the only eastern in July.

Besides I don't think I can handle adding time to my wait! I need to go on vacation again and put my happy butt in a deck 4 chair.

Well, we just had Derby week here in Ky. and I am now ready to relax in a deck chair too! It keeps getting closer every day! :cool1:

less then 60 days to gooo, less then 60 days to goooooo, high hoo a merryoooooo less then 60 days to goooooooooooo
:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
Do you all like my singing??? :thumbsup2 I cant wait :cheer2:

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

LOVED the singing  :woohoo:  :woohoo:

the question is will we get to hear you live during family karokee?

I'm thinking for mother's day I am going to ask/make my family sit and watch to Pirates of the Caribean movie. Can you believe I have never seen it yet?!? Start getting the family excited for the cruise.

My DH informed he is not swimming with the stingrays! :confused3 Still debating if the rest of us are gonna go.

Is anybody staying overnight in Port Canaveral Friday evening? We haven't decided what we are going to do yet, may stay with Aunt in Sebastian (1 hour south) Friday night.

9 of our group will be in town for 3 days doing the parks before the cruise. DW and I are flying in on Friday the 7th and, since MK is open till 2am that day for Disney resort guests, we've picked up day MYW-Hopper passes and will do MGM and MK that day. We're meeting up with our bunch that are staying at the Boardwalk Inn and having dinner @ Chef Mickeys and then DW and I will hit MK till we're unable to move anymore and then head back to our hotel and go to sleep. They are staying at Boardwalk, we are staying at the Swan. We will be at Port by 10am on 7/8.

Absolutely no singing live n in person for me!!!! Not unless I have had many too many to drink and all of you want to be swimming in the ocean cause I will surely crack the hual (spelling????)

I too have never seen the pirate of the caribean movie and that sounds like a good idea to watch before we go :thumbsup2
I, my kids and my nephews will be doing the stingray swim at 1:00 if you would like to join us ;)

We are all flying in on Saturday AM - 8:40 flight out of JFK
cant wait

also how do you get the hrs, min on your ticker????

My family (all 18 of us :grouphug: ) are flying in via Southwest to MCO on Friday July 7th. It is my nephew's birthday that day! :cool1:

We are staying in Cocoa Beach! I cannot wait!!!!!

I can't wait for my kids to see the ships. They saw the Delta Queen and The Belle of Louisville this week alot because of Derby and they kept asking how big the "Disney boat" was in comparison. My DH and I just told them there really was no comparison to these two river boats! But that is all they know and see everyday. So I will be thrilled to see their faces that first day at port!!!!! :lmao:

Pirates of the Caribbean pirate: is great. I bought it for my boys for Christmas and they ahve watched it. They wanted to "be prepared" for the cruise. Too funny! :goodvibes

I don't know what site I got the other ticker from..sorry.

I love this little guy... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: never noticed him before.

I'm so easily amused. Speaking of amusing, I hope we have good talent on the ship. Our last cruise had a ventriliquist that we still quote 2 years later. "You're a jerk" in a certain voice makes me smile. He was awesome, don't know his name but one of his puppets was Paco.

Hope everybody plans to go to the theme nights in Diversions for the adults. They are a blast!
