My Reservation

Cruise: 12-Night Northern European Capitals with Helsinki, Finland
Ship: Disney Magic
Sail Date: July 06, 2010
Stateroom: Deluxe Inside Stateroom Category 10

Only 196 days until your cruise sets sail!

Yes - We are still on (and plan on being on) this cruise. We have had a lot of vacation options for 2010 and have decided that we definitely want to do this one. The China Trip with my daughter’s Chinese instructor almost replaced this cruise, but in the end it wasn't what we thought it would be - so we're planning a China trip for her graduation in 2011.

 196 Days! I guess I better start planning our trip.

P.S. The website for this disgroup is still intact if we want to use it.

Booked my hotel through disney Vacation Club... Royal Garden Hotel... Called DVC and they said that they will allow me to take buses from one of their approved hotels in London as opposed to having to go back to Heathrow.

Merry Christmas from Chicago to all our cruise friends! Have to get back into Baltic planning mode full speed ahead now!! :santa::santa::santa::santa:

We are also ready to start the serious planning!

Just a reminder - check the first post for updates and any announcements - and for our new members (and even some of us who have been around a while), Monstro has his wiki where we can include our info about who's traveling, etc. Hopefully we'll be able to have this put into a printable directory before we sail - we had one with our Royal Carib. cruise and it came in handy - we had pictures included and cabin numbers / traveling party and such - made recognizing each other a lot easier!

Three months ago, DH and I went on a 9-day trip to China and had a wonderful time! The trip was sponsored by our local Chamber of Commerce and subsidized by the Chinese government, so it was very affordable. I would highly recommend checking with your local Chamber of Commerce, because many across the country offer the exact same trip each year. Anyone can sign up to go - you didn't have to be a member of the Chamber; there were quite a few children on the trip; and people from other states also came with us. All together, 450 people signed up this year, so we were divided into three groups of 150 that left on a staggered schedule. (We were in the second group of 150.) $2,000pp included flights from NY to Beijing, Beijing to Shanghai, Shanghai to Beijing, and Beijing to NY, all hotels (4- & 5-star), three meals a day, and all touring & admissions. We had to get to NY on our own and Chinese visas were an additional $160pp. The highlight for us was walking along the Great Wall of China! Let me know if you'd like more information. :)

Anyone from texas going on this cruise? Or have a kid that will be 13 at the time.

i have 2 kids DD(13) and a DS(19) at sailing so if any of you have any kids this age maybe they could meet on the cruise

Casey - my boys will be just-turned-14 and not quite 13 when we go. My older one still thinks girls are yucky and the younger one is in the girls are the best friends stage. Of course who knows what six months will bring :) I love that we're sailing on the Magic because Ocean Quest is a perfect fit for my guys.

Absolutly. We can print it or organize it anyway that works.

Here's the link again. I'd love to get it updated.

Wow Deb - that sounds like a great deal! I'd love to get some more information from you.

Thanks
Jeff

Belated holiday wishes to all! :goodvibes

I just saw on the Baltic info thread something about our departure being possibly delayed now? The cruise before us is not disembarking until 10:30, an hour later than they expected. Anyone have info on that? Interested to see how that will affect us on departure day too.

Santa got me a Cruising in the Baltic guidebook. :cool1: Now I have to find the time to read it!
