Thank you Denise. It would be good to see you and your family as well. And that goes for all the other 7/7/07 cruisers.....

I do still have the wiki page intact. I can continue to keep that upated and if we leave, someone else could become the administrator of it. My wife was looking at Adventures by Disney yesterday. I guess that has now entered the equation. :)

If you all could chime in about the wiki (web site). Was it working for what we wanted?

Hi everyone. I took some time tonight to see if we can get our sailing list updated with who all is still planning to go. If a DISer on the list in the first post hasn't posted since about mid-June, I sent the following PM (and for at least one of you, I double-sent-it because the DIS was "helping" me!)

Hi. As we're ten months out from the July 6th - 12th Baltic cruise, it's time for me to update our list on the first page of our thread ( http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1975441 ). I went back to mid-June to see who all has posted and then for everyone else, I'm PM'ing to see if you are still planning to sail and keep your DIS name on the list. Also if you're still sailing and have your cabin number and want to have it included (if it's not already), feel free to let me know so I can add it so as we get closer to time for planning any DIS activities, we'll have the info together. Feel free to reply on the thread or by PM.

Hope you all are enjoying this long weekend (for those who get an extra day from work or school).

NZDisneymom - I sent you a PM as we're definitely going. I know that Justhat is still also definitely going with her family. We just got off the Magic on Sat. so now we're ready to plan for this trip. :thumbsup2

I'll have to comb through the previous pages for any discussions of FE's... unless someone happens to know where the status of that is.... :rolleyes1

Hi everybody,
We haven't posted in a while about this cruise. We're still going! Booked the flights:

Virgin Atlantic JFK to LHR (All 5 tickets on points :cool1:, All 5 Premium Economy...Upper Class was taken on choice flights--would have had to take an 8am flight eastbound during the day--did not want to do that with three kids, i'd rather have them sleep on the overnight flights).

Booked on our own at the Marriot Grosvener House. Should be fun! The Virgin Customer Service people said the Hyde Park area was a great location FYI.

Our Baltic DCL Rooms are: Cat 3 8534
Cat 4 8084

for whoever is updating the list...

Just thought I would say

300 Days until we sail!!!!

So, I watched the podcast today to see if the 2011 cruises would make me wish I had waited...and I am still so happy with our itinerary!:goodvibes

We have already been to Alaska. If the announcement had been Greek Islands or Dalmation Coast I might have been more tempted.
(2012 ! wishing)

Did anyone else watch the podcast? What did you think?

Joanne

Joanne----I watched...I would love to go to Alaska but REALLY want to go the the Dalmatian Coast and Greek Islands more. Wonder, no pun, if they will go to again to Alaska...love the Greek Islands. There are so many, we went in 2007 before the Med cruise. Want to go back...maybe 2012

I so didn't need to know about Alaska... we've said all along that if DCL went to Alaska, we'd do it. Now to figure out how to do it with this Baltic one as well........... I wonder if I can find a second job!

Haven't been able to get the podcast to come up yet but have read the announcement. While it is great they are doing Alaska I think we will probable go back to the Med again wiht the Magic. With the Wonder moving to LA I would imagine the Alaskan cruises if popular will become pretty much regular. I would rather go back to the Med since who knows if they will keep that itinerary. Now got to wait until we can book.

I read the announcement. We have never been to Alaska and said if DCL did we would go. I'm wondering if they'll be repeating it again since they have with the other itineraries. I had also said I wanted to be on the inaugural cruise of the new ship. Decisions decisions.

I am looking forward to an Alaska cruise at some point, but I would the it is almost certain that the Alaskan itinerary is here to stay since they are stationing a ship on the west coast permanently. I am eyeing the 11-day Christmas cruise.

We are planning for the Alaskan cruise. John has always wanted to see Alaska so this will give us the opportunity to do it with Disney, which we adore.

I would think Alaska would happen again, though not every year. I imagine they will send the West Coast based DCL ship to Hawaii, too, once the Ko'Olina DVC resort is open.

Waiting to see the DVC point requirements for Alaska now...

Hi everyone....we are at Ko'Olina now and as always it is beautiful here. They have starting building the new Disney resort here. I will get pictures and post them.

Yesterday I was talking to a local and an employee at Marriott and she said they have "heard" that DCL will be be bringing a ship here when the new Disney hotel and DVC is done. There is a marina and yacht club next to Marriott and looking out my window I see a couple of large tankers too. It isn't big enough for DCL but I'm sure with some work it might fit....:confused3

It would be perfect to bring a ship here.....I agree....
