Can anyone who has already booked their shore excursions please let me know if tax is included in the price? We're loking to book ours next Wednesday and are trying to work out the cost. Thanks.

Wow, quite a lot sold out already! I saw atleast 2 that we were looking into that are. Thanks for posting that Jeff!

Any ideas how the other cities are looking? We have 2 that we really want to do. Santa's house in Helsinki & the Glass Works/Viking ships in Oslo. Those are the ones the kids really want to see the most.

Does anyone know how we could book and excursion for my kids staying in our stateroom to go with their grandparents who are staying in a different one without us present? (My parents were able to make their excursions last week but we have to wait until next week)

Yes. Both of those are still available for at least 5 people (my party total). Sorry, but I don't know how to do the kids going with Grandparents thing...

Jeff

Any news from the Mouse on what is planned on board? Like when is formal night, is there a pirate night (hmmm... maybe a Viking night instead....) and such. I know they haven't traveled this route before but they must have plans and a schedule.

???

The few excursions that we looked at is not offered on both days. In addition, trying to do two excursions is also challenging because of the departure and return time.

As a result we are still looking at private excursions to see if we can maximize our stay.

We found that we were only able to book one excursion at each place because of the times of the excursion. I was wondering if that was DCL's way of having enough excursions for all.

It was nice to see shorter excursions and family-oriented ones. On the Med cruise the excursions were so long that our little girls didn't really enjoy them.

We booked the Shopping Experience and the Evening Boat Tour on the same day/night. There are some others that you can double up on too such as the St Catherine's Ball event and the Folk Dancing as well as Ballet performances.

We really wanted to do the St. Catherine's Ball, Folking Dancing and the Ballet but they were all only in the evening so we had to pick two. Went with the ball and the ballet.

I was hoping they would offer something too. I'm really mad at myself for booking airfare with DCL now since it's a heck of a lot cheaper now on our own. (We paid about $1500 each and I'm finding rates of $900....$600 each for transfers is not a deal LOL) But I think it's too late to take it off :( Does anyone know if DCL will adjust the airfare if it's cheaper for them than we paid originally? I know...wishful thinking

We would wondering the same thing but I doubt it. I think DCL just makes that much more on the flights.

We have our air through DCL, too, and it's just over $1300 each. Honestly, even though we could get airfare for less, we've been checking the comparable flight rates and not seen it for much less in the last several months. We like that we know we'll have a non-stop flight from Atlanta (red-eye). When we factor in the transfers and peace of mind, it's worth it for us.

As for whether DCL would reduce the air cost, our TA said they've never seen that happen.

Have you received your flight information from DCL already?

Any idea how far from say Buckingham Palace, the Lion King show is? We are not too familar with London and wish that DCL was doing transportation from the hotels booked through them to the Lion King. We would really like to see that but are not too sure about getting there.

Other than some of the DCL St. Petersburg excursions that are sold out, are the other port's excursions still in good supply? How about the Palo brunches?

Can't wait for our turn to book this coming tuesday nite!

This might sound like a silly question but does anyone know what time zone the DCL website uses? I know I can book my excursions next Wednesday 7th April but as I live in the UK I'm wondering whether I will have to wait until late on Wednesday evening, in which case I might miss out on the excursions I want to book.

Eastern time. I was able to book my excursions at 10:00 PM MST which is Midnight EST. I hope that helps.

Woo Hoo! As the cruise gets closer, I figured it was time to stop dragging my feet (to stop lurking) and join this forum!!!

DH (Otis), DS11 (Zach), DD9 (Hannah), and myself (Bridget) will be sailing the Disney Magic on July 6th in a GTY4

This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise!! Have you guys done group lanyards or tee's? If so, I would be interested in adding my name to the list!

Looking forward to sailing the Baltic with all of you!!

Not sure - we are doing it on our own and are just going to take a cab. That's one reason I did it on my own - didn't seem like there was any plus to the DCL version.

will see you there - those are the 2 "nights" we picked too!

Welcome!! No tees or lanyards at this point but there is a fish extender list. also a pre- cruise dinner meet in Dover for those who will be there. did you find the website monstro has done such a great job of putting together?

there are tons of kids in that age range - they are going to have a great time!!

Sorry everyone for the multiple posts - can you tell I am a weekend binge disser?:surfweb:

I am bummed that we can't be in Dover the night before to meet some of you at the pre-cruise dinner, and even though I look forward to the brunch - that's still just a few of you guys soooooooo...... i talked to the concierge guys and they said we could have a meet on secret deck 7 or somewhere. If adults aren't too interested, I could do a kid meet?? No worries if too much other stuff going on - but if there is I am up for planning it. SOme cruises I have never met anyone I dissed with - which was always kinda sad. If no meet, please stop by 8016 and say hi!!:)

Have a Happy Happy Easter!
