Awesome! They are my all-time favorite band. Where is the concert?

Have a magical time.

Me too! TWO WEEKS!:banana:We should be 1/2 hour outside of Orlando -- I can hardly wait.

Should get my documents today as my TA mailed yesterday and sends them overnight! Yay -- that makes it official.

Now I am panicking -- I am usually just about packed by this time -- but I haven't really started!:scared1: On my to do list for this weekend.

Going to rehab! :cool1: Just got the call! I won't be there during the transfer, since my daughter is having her 16th birthday get-together at the mall with two other friends that also turn 16 this week, and you know who is driving! And perhaps shopping. I am pretty sure I still need some new clothing. ;)

The mall is over 45 minutes one way, the rehab is 20 minutes the other way, and since I have already signed all the papers, they don't need me. I will just go visit my mom later this evening.

This had better be the last problem I have before my trip! Although you know what they say about God and the plans we make for ourselves!

I do thank you all for your good thoughts!

Dylcal - praying that your Dad is released to drive. I know it is not easy to give up the independence that driving yourself offers, no matter how wonderful the people caring for you.

So, let me think, what do I need from the mall??? Perhaps a new dress, some new shoes, a new something to carry things in at the park, more Make-Up Forever waterproof stuff, little soap pumps from Bath and Body Works, maybe new shorts, definitely new tops, oh what the heck new bras and underwear too. I can faint from the credit card bill later. :scared1:

In two weeks, at this moment, I had better be playing in the sand with my dog!

Two nights at a beach house in Cape San Blas, FL, having fun with my dog. I am looking forward to the cruise, most certainly, but we are one of those strange families that really enjoys being with our pets, so the thought of spending part of my vacation with my dog just fills me with joy! :cloud9: If you met my dog, you would see why! Not that I am biased or anything!

Joy, joy, joy, joy, joy. That will be me today!

Two weeks from today we should be landed at MCO and on a Magical Express Bus headed to Animal Kingdom Lodge-Kidani Village! I'm so excited!:cool1:

Wow!! Everything seems to be coming together for everyone!!! yea!!

In two weeks, we will be at Sea World!! We fly in to Orlando on the 30th and are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn at Sea World for 3 nights. DS wants to visit Sea World, so we plan on going for 2 days. We are still undecided on whether we are going to the NASCAR race in Daytona. :confused3 We will drive over to Port Canaveral on the 4th for our stay at CI & S. Not sure where we will be able to see fireworks that night...guess we will check it out when we get there.:confused:

I have made a surprise journal for my DS, thanks to the wonderful disigners on these boards! :cloud9: All that is left to do is to take it to my DH office have it bound. My next project is to complete his autograph book - I need to double check the pages and make sure I have all the characters that have been reported on the Dream and then have my DH bind it as well. Then I am going to finish the stateroom Mickey ears and magnets. And finally, I need to get the FE gifts bagged and tagged. After I finish all that, maybe I can begin packing!! :laundy:

Hope everyone has a productive weekend and Happy Father's Day to all the dads!! pirate:

Luvavacation: That is wonderfule about your Mother!:thumbsup2 I know that that is a big worry lifted. Prayers and Pixie dust always work!!

I, too, will be going shopping tonight -- but it is for my Son who needs lots of stuff for the trip! I am hoping I might be able to browse myself, but knowing him we won't go near any store where I would wear their clothes!!!:rotfl:

Anybody else ready to do a practice packing this weekend? My suitcase is out of the closet and half of my wardrobe is ready to go, so I think it might be a good idea to see just how much will actually fit in the suitcase and still come under the airline's 50 lb limit...... and I'll still need to leave room for all the "stuff" I'll buy onboard and at WDW....

Might have to go by the old rule of only bringing half of what I think I'll need!

Back from the mall and I bought some dresses!!! No shoes, shorts, or anything else, just dresses. Took me 3 hours to find dresses that I liked, and a rarity for me, I actually tried them on at the mall! I entered the dressing room with 15 dresses and came out with 4. For me, that is successful.

I have to wonder though, what is it with dresses for fat women like me that have the seam right under the breasts? I am quite blessed up top, and that seam hits me straight across the center of the blessings, not under them! Hello dress designers, women my size probably have something on top, how about lowering that seam a few inches? :thumbsup2

And when it is really hot out, as much as I would love to wear a strapless dress or top, you really don't want me to, and there is no way when it is 90+ outside that I am wearing a corset bra under that light summer strapless top. Defeats the purpose, in my opinion. Sure, I would love perky ones again, but since I would rather vacation than surgically lift the "blessings", perky isn't going to happen anymore. Maybe a built in bra like the smaller sizes get to have at the sporting goods store would be nice. Hey, women my size exercise too!

Ok, rant over. This happens when I go to the mall. At least I wasn't swimsuit shopping!

Sadly, I did not buy shoes, either. I really wanted some new shoes, but DH calls me Imelda, so perhaps I should shop my own closet. Not as much fun though.

PrincessBette, the journal and autograph book sounds wonderful! I bet your DS will be thrilled.

Now I am off to try on the new dresses here at home. Not sure if it is just me, but everything looks different at home. Hopefully, it looks better! :)

Woohoo! Happy to have found this thread. I haven't slept the past two nights...too excited for the AquaDuck!

Getting excited here too! Last night took Anders to emerg, he had some weird muscle thing but he looks to be on the mend.. 6 hours and umpteen tests later.
Just got my two new bathing suits delivered via UPS. Payed a mint but I think I like them. I have been blessed and I have had three kids so it isnt easy finding a suit I like. But I found this company called Tarra Grinna, and I found two!! Yipeee!
I hear ya on the summer dresses too.. we just need a little thcker strap so as to wear a bra.. otherwise... well... it aint pretty...
Mickey is calling this week... kids are going to FLIP. keep yall posted!

We really do have to have a drink on the cruise - my treat!! Your post had me laughing as I can so relate!! I may not be heavy (did Weight Watchers about 8 years ago - lost 45 pounds -- managed to keep it off - although one Disney cruise almost did me in!) but do have an ample top (that due to gravity and old age now meets my stomach!). Have the same problem with dressess and those stupid seams. Don't go swim suit shopping -- perfer Victory Secret Catelogue -- believe it or not the "miracle bra" can make them almost perky again!

Glad your shopping trip was successful -- mine is now tomorrow as my son wanted dinner more than clothes but wants an early start tomorrow -- this could be expensive!

Just curious if anyone knows who our cruise director will be? Hope Rachel is still on board......

My birthday is the day we disembark (boo!!) and my DH and DS gave me a early present today: a Nikon D3100 DSLR camera that I have been wanting since before Christmas!! party: So excited that I may have time to learn how to turn it on before we set sail!! :lmao: Just had to share the good news! :yay:

VERY nice. Just think of all the excellant photos you'll be able to post here afterwards!
