Dylcal - glad to hear your Dad is well enough to go home. Let the packing commence!
Tequilamamacita - If you don't wear a pirate outfit, I think something casual works, too, like jeans and colourful shirt. At least, that is what I have seen on the other Disney cruises. Not sure if that has changed, but really I think casual is the norm on Pirate Night.
dlhvac - don't worry, let the porters carry it all! Problem solved!
All these phone calls and preparations for the kids (and adults) sound fun! Makes me want grandchildren so I can do all of it again!
My little girl (ok, she is almost 21, but still my little girl) is on her way home from her 6 month internship at Disney! DH flew down this afternoon, she had her last day of work today, and they just barely fit everything into her car and are driving straight through! An adventure for sure! Best part is, I have Family Locator on our phones, so I can see where they are! I love modern techonology!
Dh said he is very uncomfortable, as he has to hold a 12 pound Iguana on his lap in the passenger seat. I really do hope he is joking and she isn't really bringing home an Iguana?
I do know DD is bringing home some lizards, which I am fine with, many plants, also fine with, and a "really neat looking spider".

I don't do spiders. So glad I am not the one driving home with her, because that spider would not be in the car with me! And it is definitely NOT coming in my house!
I am so excited she is finally coming home, that I haven't even gone to bed yet. Instead, I have been tackling my pre-trip jobs. Floors have been washed, bedding in the hamster cage is changed, realized the Hermit Crab died (yesss! he was really mean) so had to freeze his body so DD can bury him when she gets home, cleaned the bathrooms, and did some other stuff that I don't remember 'cause I am old.
Still have to clean out and freshen DD's bedroom, need to wash carpets upstairs (three cats, hairballs happen), oh and there is that big pile of stuff that is waiting for me to go through and decide what is being packed and what isn't. Other than my dinner outfits, I haven't even decided on what other clothes to bring, nor shoes. I hope I get around to doing that soon!
Oh yeah, the guest room needs to be freshened up for the housesitter.
And oh my gosh, I completely neglected finishing my Fish Extenders!

I have the gifts, but still can't figure out the Extenders! Ruined the first ones, and have been ignoring them ever since. I truly amaze myself by how un-crafty I am! Add those Fish Extenders to my list too!
Snorkel gear too! Mustn't forget that! I just keep remembering things as I read all your posts!
So much to do, so little time left to do it all in. And yet, I love this! Makes life interesting when the pressure is on to prepare for a trip!
Have fun packing!
