July 5, 2011 - Mickey's WONDERful Alaskan Adventure

Why not, it's green! My ribbon is kelly greenish too, I guess, so you'll fi right in!

i got mine today..thank you. i have been in packing mode and pulling anything out i think of that can be pulled ahead of time. :rotfl2:

My husband & I have reservations for Palo Brunch 10:30 am on Tracy Arms day too!! Yum Yum!!

Wow we all had the same idea! We have reservations on Tracy Arm day at 10:30. I thought the view would be incredible. We may pull a New Orleans Begue's (there is a group of regulars that get there around 10:30 and eat brunch until 3pm!). I am usually easy to spot. Red hair with a short bob cut. If you are on facebook, feel free to friend me or just check out my profile pic. Cannot wait!

Save some of that yummy stollen bread. Our Palo reservation isn't until 11 am. :)

I got my green ribbon today. With it was the nicest note with a cute itinerary of our cruise! Thanks so much Sue! It's fun to start making pile of things to take on the trip. Got quite the little pile going now :goodvibes

Also it's crunch time for the Fish Extender gifts for me. I want to make sure I have the right amount. From our nice web site there is only 11 staterooms but that is from 3/7/11.

I know it was mentioned that the cut-off to participate was set at a month before we sail. Do we have the exact count?

Smiling while I plan for a Wonderful trip! My family hasn't been on the Wonder since our first Disney Cruise (4-day). Boy were we ever hooked after that! :woohoo:

I know what you mean about being hooked-there's nothing like a disney cruise! I haven't actually started making piles, but I have a mental pile! I need to wait till school gets out so I can
focus on packing, one thing at a time! Just 11 more days left, but boy are they packed!
i'm watching the Stanley cup finals now in vancouver! Maybe they'll show some of the city

I've been working on our packing list and like Theresa we've been putting some things into our packing pile on our dining room table.

I've also been making some notes based on things I've read that should help us on the trip (like places to eat in Vancouver, best side to sit on while on White Pass rail, etc.)

I think the time is going to fly by now.

Can you believe we still don't have luggage tags? Guess it's time to make a phone call!! I feel left out!

Did you do online check-in? If not that can delay the books a bit.

Did you book direct with Disney, a local TA or an internet TA? We booked through one of the big internet TA's and got our documents direct from Disney, but I've heard that some smaller local TA's have them sent to them first which again delays getting it to the customer.

Either way I'm sure you'll get them soon.

I booked through a small travel agent. I know she probably already has them - she goes through everything with a fine toothed comb before sending them out. I know we'll get them, and am not really worried about it - just means the trip is that much closer when you have the luggage tags! I did the online check in, so we're good.
So looking forward to this cruise even more now, Walt just went on night work, and I hardly ever see him - looking forward to spending 24/7 with him on this trip!

We booked through an independent TA and got purr books when most everyone else did. I'd get on the horn and call...

I just sent an email to the TA, we'll see what the deal is, I'm sure she's got them. We usually book things ourselves, but I knew we wanted this particular cruise, and that I wouldn't be able to book it myself as soon as it was open ( wasn't sure how popular it would be), so that's why I went the the TA. Although I have to admit, I've pretty much guided her through steps she needed to do as we went along. She never knew you could pay your excursions upfront by applying on board credit before you leave - she needs to read the disboards!!

So true! My TA is great but many a time I've emailed her to keep an eye out for a particular Disney trip and she's replied 'how did you hear about that?!' DIS boards of course!:goodvibes

I told my dd that that was going to be our daily walk. although i think since ours has things iin it that can be used all week we might try to do ours the first couple of days.

my mind is trying to figure out how eggs bendict has anything to do with exercise and this is my only logic... walking makes one hungry therefore when you are done delivering the FE's you head on over to Triton's for breakfast every morning. :thumbsup2

I like that too....my reasoning was that since the eggs benedict has so many calories (it is delish if I recall) I'll need to jog my FE route to justify eating it. :rolleyes1

your logic sounds like work is involved and having a mind frame of watching the diet while vacationing. i thinks you need to change that mind frame to who cares about the diet your on vacation. :thumbsup2 just kidding..i dont think i have ever even had eggs benedict.. might have to try it out myself.
