Disney Trip Dream concierge review
Arrived at the terminal at 3:00 hardly a soul there. Easy transfer from MCO although I didnt think it was that well marked. Or at least not as well as I expected it to be.
Checked in at the terminal. Easy.
Arrived on the boat in one big grin. I dont remember quite how we got to the concierge lounge I think I was too overwhelmed. The team was excellent Rodrigo got us a drink and we got a snack, we were quite hungry at that point. And then we got the low down. Headed to our rooms. WOW. We had a suite that was handicapped accessible. We didn't need that but it meant there was an extra large walk in shower in the main bathroom and a standard shower in the smaller one. We had ordered gifts from Shirley which were waiting in the room. Excellent. I had also ordered a FE from Stitches and Bows and somehow it got lost on the ship. Alas. We had time only to settle in before the muster drill. This was one of the only times that I felt the crowds in the ship. Then we headed back for the sailing away party and got there towards the end. Alas we couldn't see very well. But that was OK.
First night dinner at Royal Palace. Our servers: Silard and Tiger.. maybe misspelling. Both very good but Tiger stole the show for my kids with magic tricks.
Then we went back to our rooms to enjoy drinks on our decks and also check the kids into the clubs since we didnt do that initially. We had brought some drinks from duty free but found that the prices on the ship were cheaper in their duty free than ours in the airport in Toronto.
Day Two
We had breakfast in the room. Meh. Not that exciting. We had rented a cabana that day at CC. Totally worth the extra splurge. We meandered over there and found Julia and Melanie from Concierge there to help. We brough snorkel gear and basically had a great day at the beach. Cookies Two food was OK. I thought it could be improved a little. That evening we went to Golden Mickeys and my daughter was interviewed on the red carpet. She loved that.
Dinner: Enchanted Garden
Kids went to kids club, we went to The District and ended up at Pink. It was practically empty. I had the special Tattinger dream champagne and my husband had some blue drink.
Day Three: Day at Sea
Breakfast: At Enchanted Garden eggs benny; super yum
I went to the spa for the frangipani hair massage and then the Oxygen facial AWESOME> in between I went to the rainforest rooms and basically had it to myself. FABULOUS!
Lunch: We went to cabanas. Quality OK, better than Cookies Too, but again room for improvement. Although my kids mowed down on the sushi.
Back to rainfores spa , drinks then down to Animators Palette to feed kids. We were going to eat at Remy. HOLY SMOKES... or some other version. IT was AMAZING> we did the french menu and wine tasting paireings. UNBELIEVEABLE. One of the best meals EVA. Mind you by the time I was close to finishing one of the Swedish waiters gave me his arm to get me to the ladies. That TOPPED it off.
Day Four Nassau
breakfast concierge lounge They have oatmeal if you ask. And the coffees are lovely.
We rode the aquaduck this am and then had lunch at cabanas. Then took a walk through Nassau. I was just as glad to get back to the boat. That night dinner at AP again. We were tired and didnt get to the first pirate party. We put the kids in the club and then went up to the concierge lounge for champagne and a quiet time on deck. Back to get the kids for the fireworks. We got loungers on deck 12? and watched it was great.
Day 5 CC
Again we rented the same CC this time. We tried oout the snorkelling lagoon, and I tried Pelican Plunge. It was great fun. I did meet a lady who had been stung by a jelly fish the first day. So I re-slathered the kids and me with Safer Sea a jellyfish protector. A great day.
Dinner at AP.
Great cruise. Awesome Concierge staff
Cabana well worth splurge.
Both pull out and murphy bed in the one bedroom suite are very comfortable.
Best vacation EVA
