July 4th anyone????

We will be at Jambo 7/3-7/18. It will be Myself(31), DH(34), DD(12), DD(10), DD(5), my father, and DH's father. We are going to do the parks 5 days, and then the pools and other things the rest of the time!

I have been trying to keep the list up to date. If anyone sees any mistakes please let me know so I can correct them.

Based on the list so far, it looks like we might have to schedule a couple of times for people to possibly get together to include everyone who wants to. Based on our current plans, we could do something later in the day on 6/30. Other possibilities are 7/2 and 7/5. Right now one of the earlier times and then again on 7/5 would include everyone in at least one opportunity. Any suggestions about where/how we could get together? Pool might be an issue with not everyone staying at the same resort. Any additional ideas?

We'll be at AKV on the 4th also. We are at SSR from 6/27-7/2 and AKV from 7/2-7/7. It will be our families 3rd - 4th of July in a row. Our first was at a Marriott, last year was a Sheraton and NOW we are DVC (AKV) owners

Do any of you know whether you will be in Jambo or Kidani? I can make the list a little more complete with that info. Hopefully everything is up to date now.

We will be around the pool area probably most afternoons. I'm thinking I might make a flag with a LGMH and our username so it is easier for everyone to stop by and say hello. Maybe we can claim the BBQ grill area on the 4th and have our own cookout/party before everyone heads out for their fireworks plans (BYO of course ).

Just an FYI for those who aren't planning fanatics. If you arrive on 6/29 your 90 day window for ADRs opens today (before that has already opened obviously). We arrive on 6/28 and I called to get mine all set up yesterday. Since you are staying on-property, you can book as much as 10 days of your vacation (through July 8 right now I think).

OMG!!!! that is too funny 6-15 is my 41st bday and 7-11 is our 18th wedding ann. We will be celebrating those both on our visit 6-25 thru 7-7 we are ALL going to have SOOOOOOOO much fun! So much to celebrate!

When we were there last year, it was about a month before DW and my 25th Anniversary so we did some early celebration at Disney. We are going a little earlier this year so we are missing all of the birthdays that we normally celebrate there too. I guess we will just have to all celebrate with you guys.

What did you think of the DHS display?

Sorry, I am just revisiting the thread and I think I missed your question. They were cool but short. Nothing length wise like Wishes and Illuminations. To me it seemed they were just warming up and the finale was going off. They time the fireworks to rock/pop songs. It is a great sight seeing them over the big hat.

Jealous of all you guys that will be there. We have a short trip planned in early June but nothing else until January. May have to try to change that.
