July 28, 2007 - Romeancing the Mouse in the Med Cruise Reunion thread!

Hi Guys

Hope you are all ok. Just checking in.

I need some more NY advice I have just found out that Green day will be playin at Madison Square Gardens on July 27th. Is this venue easy to get too? The tickets are not yet on sale but I was wondering if anyone could help me order some - the concert is the day after our meet so I would be able to pick them up from you then -
I would send you the money in the post before hand. let me know anyhow

Take care
Hx

I'm not sure what the venue ticket limit is -- I am already planning on getting tickets for me, my girls, and my oldest girl's boyfriend . . . if the ticket limit is high enough I can get some for you as well . . . MSG is very easy to get to -- it's on 7th Avenue and 32rd Street. Let me see what the ticket limits are when they announce the on-sale date and I will let you know if I can do it.:goodvibes

It's about trying to get her tickets to a Green day concert!!!

Glad you were able to get your tickets, Helen. Thanks to Julie, out NY expert, of course. :goodvibes Can't wait until you visit Helen!!!!

PS. It took me a few seconds to realize what a brolly is!!!! :rotfl2:

Got it now and loading into itunes as we speak:thumbsup2

Should we finalise our plans for the Sunday meet in July?
Im so excited
As I said before we are happy to go to any restuarant (as long as Dave can get a simple steak )
You are the expert Julie whatever is easier - we have no plans that day so could do the meal before or after the show what ever is best for others.

It is also easy for me to do lunch before or dinner afterwards -- so let's let JoAnn and MaryAnn -- and Sallie if she can make it! -- decide which, and then we will discuss places once we know which meal. We will be sure that Dave can get a good steak!

We'll leave it up to JoAnn as she is travelling the farthest. We will both be coming home from the cruise the day before so I am not sure if she's staying over in NYC or going home. We'll do either. Can't wait!!!!

Well, I will book a room and stay over b/c I'm sure we'll be tired after traveling.....so, if it's okay with everyone, let's do dinner? That way, we should be on time for the show and not have to get up so early.

Ok, back to you, Julie.......you're in charge of location!:thumbsup2:flower3:

Dinner is fine with me -- and I think Helen and Dave would love to see Tavern on the Green -- maybe even followed by a carriage ride through Central Park at night with the lights of the city twlnkling around . . . and of course they have steak -- Helen, look at the menu here and let me know what you think:

It's not inexpensive, but quite a spectacular place to eat . . . there is a pre-theatre dinner menu that we could get if we got there before 6:30 (which I think we could) but no steak on that one . . . anyway, the link to the menus is at the top.
