Hi all,

It's just midnight over here in California. I just got home from our church fiesta. We have it all three days, and I'll be there from open to close each day. (yawn)

Oh, and please wish my dd, Kelly, luck tomorrow. I'm dropping her, her boyfriend, and another friend off at Disneyland tomorrow -- check this - at 5:00 AM! Her friend is planning on getting there at 4:00 AM? Why, you ask? Tomorrow is the 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean Movie - At World's End premiere, and they want good spots along the red carpet to see Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom (or the other way around for some of the other girls going), oh, and the other stars. Two of her friends went last year, and she would have gone, too, but was on vacation w/her father, so couldn't go. Both girls ended up on the DVD in the special features section when they show the red carpet at Disneyland - they're behind Orlando Bloom in the crowd. THIS year, she said nothing was going to stop her. The park opens at 6:30 am tomorrow and they all want to get there early. (Crazy Kids) So, please send good vibes & wishes her way that she'll have a fun day tomorrow hanging out & getting the Disneyland Pirate experience.

We are off to a track meet with my dd at Bardonia, NY (We are meeting the bus at 7:00 am this morning). I have no idea what to wear/bring since it is absolutely freezing here. I almost turned my heat back on last night.

I am very excited this morning - yes even more than usual.

I just booked two tickets to see Disney'e High school Musical - on ice its next Jan (08) I got Block 1 ROW A right at the front

I love high school musical -perhaps my USA friends might know - the internet said it will contain music from both high school musical and the second film - I didn't know there was a High School musical 2 ?

Any way have a great Saturday

I first cruised with DCL in 2002 and have never had the CC cards membership pack or anything although by e.mail they gave me my numbers i have used those to book and had the CC gifts in my room on arrival or check in such as lanyards, beach blanket etc.

Over here they seem to forget us ,but I have received everything for the Med fast I read its an ongoing mailing with CC cards and we could be anywhere on the list.

Maybe with both our surnames starting with P we are down the list if they send them out A_Z.

People seem to still be getting them, so I am not that worried, it should turn up, Someday,,( my prince or CC cards will come)

Thanks for the pic, Andrew. That is cool. I haven't been to any of the sites that track the ship, so this is interesting to me. Enjoy Mallorca. I spent a week there back in '81, and really enjoyed my stay there.

Thank you, & good luck to your dd on the meet. It's been cool here, too, for Los Angeles, however, not freezing - more like the mid 60's to low 70's ºF (or 20-23 ºC) or so. It was definitely cool at the fiesta last night. I was glad I had my jacket.

I wish they had given us some info on the adult activities/options to look forward to.

You beat me Sallie. I only had about 3 last night. This weather is absolutely crummy. I've been sleeping with the windows opened which helps, but I had to shut them last night, lest DH would be forced to sleep in the den. He can't understand how I can feel so hot!!!! Let's face it, God has to be a man

Boy you guys are getting really chatty!!! That is great. It just hard to keep up...but enjoy trying!

To whomever was going to the track meet....hope all went well! Our oldest runs varsity track as a freshman this year...and our 6th grader at the grade school level. Abby is currently at the Illinois State Track finals...she personally didn't make it, but there is a gal from the team who is running the 3200M. She did a sub 11 minute a week ago...and is the State Cross Country champion. The best part is she is a very humble and sweet young lady. Abby's coach took a few of the girls down to build the spirit of desire in them for next year...and cheer Caitlyn on!!!

I am going round and round trying to figure out how to pack...and what to pack! I know, all in all, we will be fine. But we have a friend who is flying with just her two kids...hubby is at a different flight...and has 5 (YES 5) layovers! I am trying to have her give me some of their items...just in case!

Anyway...keep posting away gang! DH has a patient sailing the first 10 day next week. Hopefully they will report back wiht great info!
