Good Morning Everyone:upsidedow
I spotted a "tween thread" on another med. cruise thread- should I set one up for our kids going on our july 28th week? If anyone thinks its a good idea, I will need to know how::flower1:
Maybe we need to have buttons made up so we will know who we all are - I think we have a button machine in my school, maybe I can make them up if you all want- if so, tell me what to put on them.... or.....
we can all wear those plastic glasses with the mustache attached:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Sallie:laughing:

Its a good idea we had one on the 2005 repo for all the kids.

Well, we both have the same first and second choice in Naples. Hope we both get it and we get to see each other :)

Olbia we chose La Cinta Beach - at first we had Coda Cavallo but I thought lunch was included. Does anyone know why there would be a $60 difference per person?

Everytime you think you are done, you are not :sad2: - now I am going back and forth with the excursion in Villafranche - should I stay with the Monaco, Monte Carlo and Eze or switch to Cannes, Grasse & St. Paul :sad2: - decisions.

Wednesday - Olbia, Sardina - Cavallo Beach - 4 - 4.5 hours

Just curious...why did you pick Cavallo over La Cinta ? Do you
know something I don't ? :confused3

Good Luck getting what you want !! :goodvibes

I am not sure why I picked one over the over. I did that selection months ago....you guys are right the $60 adds up the $360 for my family of 6.....may reconsider this....as neither one includes lunch.....

Hi,

It has just occurred to me that despite cruising with DCL 4 times before, I have never been on an excursion with them.

Dave has done the scuba diving ones before, but with those they met on the ship, were taken as a dive boat, then taken back to the ship. (No chance of being left behind)

I was wondering - What is going on say a beach excursion like?

I take it they arrange a meeting point and time for return.
How many checks do they do? (At school when we are on a visit I count heads contstantly) I realise they wouldn't wait for late comers - believe me I am the sort of person that if they said to meet for @ 5pm I would be there for 4.30 ( Much to Daves annoyance):rolleyes1

Just wanted a bit of reassurance I guess

Well, this last week I have gone back and forth with DH, Verizon Reps and GOD. At first all were telling me it was my curse of electronics - that my magnatism was throwing the whole internet off - timing out, slooow modems, etc. Well, last night DH and I got into it - he wants to go play in a poker tournament and I told him ok as long as he got my internet working - swore up and down it was me. Well after a long night and him getting timed out when he was doing payroll at home - turns out - AGAIN - that it wasn't me. DH, like the lovey husband he is (seriously - not sarcastic this time) changed some cables - checked the wiring and found out one of the computers upstairs has a wiring problem, disconnected that one and went out to Best Buy and bought another modem since VERIZON finally coneded and checked out their end - they claim nothing wrong but suggested we can buy another one in case we think its the modem. In the meantime, whatever he did - our connection strength (wireless) has increased to very good from low - I'm hoping it holds.

Anyway, to make another long story short - I was extremely frustrated KNOWING I was just going to have to wait until 6 am and try and have an live agent book for me. Welll, as of 9 am PST - and after switching and turning some computers offline, the speed of this is great - I'm just hoping that it'll hold until 3 am on Sunday! I estimate at my snails pace I may take that long to book - unless DCL times me out like it did last night - anyone else have the problem?

Oh yeah - didn't mention it but the printer stopped working as of Friday afternoon - (I didn't touch that one - I promise - although I got blamed for it) well the problem with that one was - drum roll please.......................it was out of ink and the message wasn't getting to the screem because of the slowness - gotta love Murphy's law - when it rains - it pours :scared1:

Wait - or is that Morten's????????:confused3 Just trying to lighten up the atmosphere - pretty charged around here -

GOOD LUCK ALL! pixiedust: and :grouphug:

P.S. - Nothing like not being able to attend a good poker tournament to entice a man into action? :rotfl2: DH now has my blessings now - he can attend as long as I get no complaints tomorrow about what excursions I got. :thumbsup2 As the rest of the household - I was totally alone in picking out excursions so I went with what I wanted - :yay: and I'm a history buff - if you all see a short Mexican lady followed by 4 adults and 1 child looking all dejected - that be me - smile and shout out - you should put more input into your excursions!!!!:lmao: :rotfl2: ;)

Laura , I know what you mean.
My keyboard blew up this week - luckily Dh had a spare. But I'm still nervous about tomorrow.
