Right before I left, a very special package for Sallie came. Guess what was inside?? She is so sweet, she even let me try it on. Of course, I held it reverently. It really made our day even MORE fun.

These took me WEEKS to make. I made collages of lots of our Disney trips and experiences from over the years, DL, WDW, previous DCL.

I havent even begun to think about packing- besides if I pack now, what will I wear the next 29 days????? Well, I do have my new propeller hat, what more does one need????

I went to two banks- Chase and Sovereign- to ask about getting euros-. Both told met to get them at the airport.

Where is everyone getting their euros?

Don't talk about my "squeezably soft", like that - the others are just Scott. I love my gift. And your roll is at least 2 of mine!! We did have a great time. And never mind what Tyler was cooking. I had a gormet lunch. Sallie can give the Food Channel a run for their money. I, however, am great at take-out!

So are these going in your checked baggage or your carryons? I am just imagining someone's face when your bags get inspected and they search through the toilet paper, expecting drugs perhaps, and find -- it was a roll of toilet paper!

Well I've started...I got out the suitcase tonight.

Thankfully I had enough foresight after our Xmas cruise to put all the clean and ironed shirts, t-shirts and shorts straight into one of the suitcase ready for this cruise Aren't I a clever bunny

Ok I know I'm blowing my own trumpet ...... but who else is going to do it ???

You might be the official first packer of suitcases for this cruise.!!

So far, I've been making lists, cleaning and organizing my home and staring at my unpacked suitcase!!

Where is everyone getting their euros?

I like to have a little local money before I get there, so that I'm not forced to look for money in the airport. My bank, Bank of America, did it easily for me, and at a reasonable rate. Once there, I always use ATMs -- they are everywhere and the exchange is favorable. Just be sure to call the bank ahead of time to let them know where you will be using the card so that it doesn't come up as fraud (do this for any credit card you plan to use as well). If you don't want to use ATMs, you can always bring US dollars and exchange them on the ship, or find an exchange bureau, but seriously I find the ATMs to be the best.

To get a little money ahead of time, if your bank really won't help you, you can go online and American Express and Travelex both will ship euros to you. The exchange rate is poor, but if you are only using it to have a little money when you get there, it's probably worth it for peace of mind.

Packing - I'm still shopping _ I bought another dress in the sales today and ordered more on line- I seem to have a complusion to shop for the cruise - I see something and I think oh yes that will be great. I now have far far too much stuff - Packing is such a nightmare - What to leave !!!
