Andrew -that is not a cat- it is a scary beast !!!! :snooty:

I thought you would like it, as you like Cats, from Doctor Who a BBC SCI-FI programme aimed at family viewing, and kids. You should have seen the little kittens they were very nice!!

He was played by a famous comedy actor here, in fact Doctor Who has guest stars queuing up to be in it!!

:rotfl2:No offense to anyone that works for Molly Maids or or the other similar housecleaners. BUT all they do is spritz and wipe. I can buy a 3 pack of lysol wipes at costco and sends the kids around the house for much cheaper.

I want one of those plaques. My MIL has one that reads "Wash and Cook are 4 letter words"
When we bought our house, the previous owners had used a maid service to clean before we moved in- paid a ton of money and the house looked horrible

Sallie likes Cats

Reminds me of these pictures of 2 of my kids from epcot (hope this works!):

I have no idea what that means........it sounds scary in a sci fi way:confused3
my son and husband enjoy the show - I could never get into it

You know I said I wasn't any good -this is my 1st attempt @ a door sign

Is it as bad as I think ?:confused3
I think it looks great!!

I think you already cleaned with a pirate: !! Congratulations, JoAnn!

Question for Andrew?? By the time I get on the board, you are signing off--is it good to get an American Express Debit Card for Europe?
Searching posts it seems like a PayPal Debit is the way to go - but I've had trouble getting one - they've sent me 2 of them that had something wrong - couldn't be activated - I'm glad I started back in May!!

Thank you for the update! I hope we can find a way to get them made, since iron ons never work quite as well . . . although they are better than nothing!
I agree!

Ok Pre Meet People- I knew this wasn't going to be easy.....

Please PM me with the date you are available if any, I know how busy this month is that is why those are my only dates. I know you all posted, but if I try to go back to look for the posts, I will be back to sandwiches for dinner :thumbsup2

If it dosent work out, I will definitely have a mini with Maryann since we only live about 20 minutes from each other- and I'm sure I can meet up with Julie in NYC, since I need to go in a few times before the trip to do some shopping. But I hope the bbq works out :cutie:

The epcot animal pictures are so cute! I know my girls have done that before (it's in the imagination pavilion, right?), but I can't remember where the pictures we emailed home ended up.

I know what you mean, Sallie -- most of the time it doesn't even seem real that the trip is so close, but every now and then it hits me and I just can't wait!

Yes, I agree- thanks for doing this- I also hope we can get them made up- the iron ons, seem to come apart so quickly. :yay: :yay:

"Plane stuff" -- are those the clothes you wore on the plane, anti-tourist clothes they will give you on the plane, or clothes with the emblem of a plane on them?

I can't believe We've been to Epcot a zillion times, and I never saw this !!! I hope they still do it, I would love to get one of Carley like that!!! SOOO COOL... not like the scary one Andrew posted

Harole Ann - A few places take American Express but is not that common here in Europe - Visa is the main credit card that and Maestro;)

I've been culling the daily junk mail looking for a CapitalOne application. Finally found one. What was the deal with that particular card, and do I need to apply for it?

Yea. Way to go!

"Our 23rd anniversay is Saturday. MY DH surprised me with Tickets to see Jimmy Buffet in Atlantic City on Saturday. I can't wait to be be a parrothead for a night."

Fabulous........tell us how it is when you get back!:dance3:

I'm so jealous. I haven't seen Buffet in years. Tickets to his closest show sold out in 30 min. Have a great time!

We bought 4 packs. All of the packs at Big 5, Sports Chalet, and Sports Authority have the newer packs that have a wide 3 or 4 inch opening. So you can easily shove ice into them.

I've been trying to convince DW that we might, just might, need one of these. She claims there will be plenty of water provided. But, who knows. Better safe than sorry.

I could say the same to you and many others on our thread here. We really have a great group! :goodvibes

You're a chatty bunch. Seems like everytime I pop in I have to ketchup on hundreds, if not thousands, of posts.

In other news...
DDs are at separate summer camps this week. DD Meg is serving as a student intern at a flight camp and DD Maddie is at drama camp. I'll try to do more ketchup later.

Per my standard plug, still looking to share private excursion in Rome.

The Red Hot Ladies- I love it! Every time I'm flashing I think of it as a mini- vacation in the tropics!

Happy Anniversary Carrie and John.

Gee wiz Helen, this is super. How big is it? I wouldn't even attempt this. You did a great job! (And you said you weren't talented - what does that say about me??):sad2: :sad2:

What I had read about Capital One is that they don't charge a fee when you use their card in different currencies, like euros . . . that will save you some. I wouldn't get a card just for that (the extra cost wouldn't be that enormous) but if you are looking to have another credit card, it might as well be that one if you are headed to Europe.

Helen this is wonderful!!!

I haven't even started yet. DS15 goes to camp next Sunday for 6 weeks. I'm hoping to have time after we get him settled to work on some of these things. The fish extender fabric is waiting by the sewing machine and I still haven't decided on DisGifts, or the grab bag. Whitman's only claim to fame is THe Toll HOuse Cookie was invented here. But we can't bring open, unpackaged food on the cruise so those are out.

What program did you use?

Sandra

Wendy, 23rd Anniversary? I thought you were also going on 25

So when we were discussing a few years ago you celebrating at the Grand Floridian for a night or two - it was for your 20th Anniversay.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
