I had he option and I am pleased I didnt go for Heathrow this time Gatwick seems ok.

From me Stanstead is best, then Gatwick via M25/23 then Heathrow.

We're just about equidistant from Stansted, Heathrow and Luton although I have to say that Stansted is my favourite airport as it's just so well laid out. That being said as we're using Easyjet we're leaving from Luton this time. I haven't used that airport in years.

There isn't anything on this earth that would get my DH in Union Jack Shorts. I'm quite sure of this. Same with red pants and gold bottons. And definitly not the white gloves.

Ditto for my DH - I'll be pretty excited if he wears the DIS shirt - I think he will though - he's a good sport!
Well, I ordered 2 new pairs of shorts from Eddie Bauer on 7/9 and they still aren't here yet - when they have free shipping I think they fly it to China first and then send it to you - tomorrow's the last day they can come! I'm not a happy camper!!

This really is a bittersweet time...saying goodbye to friends that you've not even met but on the other hand knowing that they are heading to a place that you'll be going to very soon. It's all quite surreal.

I'd like to say 'thank you' once again to all those I've met here who have made this a very special place If our holiday continues in the same way then it surely going to be a real humdinger

How true. Through work I have met people on the phone and spoken to them many times on a regular basis. We get quite friendly and then sometimes it can be awkward to meet them for the first time in person. THat's one of the reasons I'm glad that many people posted photos. Other than Helen ( who I will always thinks must look like Bon Jovi) I have an idea of who everyone is.

Some of us are starting to leave and it is a little strange to be saying goodbye. I'm looking forward to meeting and seeing everyone in Barcelona and on the ship. I pray for safe travels for everyone.
