Congrats on the end of work/ school My children don't finish until wed 25th July, hence we are not in Barca until the 26th, have a safe flight and hope the cristal palace lives upto expectations and hopefullly we will see you there for a nice cold bottle of San Migel providing they have my reservation, Thanks to all for helpful info and hope to meet everyone soon.

Hello all,

This is my first post on the infamous DIS-Boards.

Our cruise is fast approaching and the anticipation level rising by the moment…

Have we remembered to pack everything, will the flight be delayed, will the weather be good, etc. etc. etc…

My DW is afraid of flying and we are about to cross an ocean in the air. While I don’t have any particular concerns for the air travel I do respect that this is a MONUMENTAL undertaking for her. As an unabashed Disney-addict the only thing that could have compelled her to travel to the ends of the earth and fly over an ocean is a chance to visit with a mouse in red pants!

No dear I’m still not getting red-pants with GOLD buttons or, doing anything in those puffy white gloves!!!

You know time is running out and all the planning and preparation will soon be over. Trust me it had better be OVER SOON!

I know there’s been a lot of discussion and sharing of information here THANK YOU all. I’m looking forward to meeting, greeting and sharing this adventure with all of you.

I have the TEE-Shirt and suppose I must wear it.

He he, took an hour off to book in flights on line! its called something I used to have a long long time ago, they used to call it a lunch break!

They will have your ressie, I booked through a Barcelona hotel recommendation service, they sellect the best, and whilst direct e.mails to the hotel have been unanswered, the company I sed have confirmed and reconfirmed to me, so I am happy, I will try to post a note about the hotel over this weekend if I can.

It would be good to hear your take on the hotel!however i understand you are on hol.......so no worries if your busy.... its got to the stage where i think we will sleep anywhere just as long as there is NO MORE RAIN and some lovely blue skies and of course a cold beer

Its under the surname of Griffiths (Jayne) for 2 adults and 2 children Junior Suite 26th and 27th July it will be about 10pm when we arrive. (booked via hotel.com)

I had he option and I am pleased I didnt go for Heathrow this time Gatwick seems ok.

From me Stanstead is best, then Gatwick via M25/23 then Heathrow.

Well I got my haircut this lunchtime and DH and thr boys will get theirs done tomorrow afternoon.

The NEXT sale started today so I got myself a couple of pairs of linen shorts so theres now NO MORE shopping to do

Also it looks like we'll be joining bridegirl (suzy) at that fantastic hotel in Sardinia for the day which I have to say I am really looking forward to...thanks Suzy for the heads up on that one
