Thanks for help Mary Jo: Sorry limited to 25 images on this post cannot give everyone a 'smile'

I am so excited to read everyone's blogs - I'm going to send the list to my mom. I have read that you can type into word and then upload. There was also a blogger who did most of her stuff from her Crackberry. So, the iPhone should work fine.

Don't tell Laura they did this for you!!

Julie, have you kept a list of these quotes you have been doing? I haven't kept them. My daughter is a scrapbooker and I think she might enjoy using some of them. Would it be possible to list them when we get back? Or just before we go?

Actually they told us about that - but DH hates to "Rent anything." Had this feeling that if we pay that much money for something he wants something in return! And it didn't work out - as Lisa said - 1 wk - 2 wks and 1 month or thereafter. So while considered - I just told DH - I bought those world mobile phones for nothing then. So we are just going to use those -

It was my daughter, Tara, although I know Lynn would take her and she in fact will, if and when, Tara studies in London next year!!!:cloud9:

Sorry JoAnn! I was soooo excited I couldn't think straight! Sorry! :flower3:

Im thinking that we might change for dinner as we're on 1st dining and then put them back on along with all our green glo necklaces/bracelets for the party :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

That reminds me - went to the Halloween store here locally and while I didn't get the necklaces - I did get a glow stick on a string so we will be "glowing DIS board gree." The best part of the necklace? It's battery operable and replaceable so we will have them - and they were only $2.79 each as opposed to $3.49. :woohoo: Every little bit helps!

Thank you for your words of encouragement. I guess you really know how I feel. As I read your post I started to cry because I know my mom would really want me to go too.

One of the drugs the doctor out her in is Steroids and my brother called a little while ago and said she had one of the steriod rages. He said it was not pretty.

She is only on those for 1 week, but the good news is that it cleared up all the congestion and she is breathing pretty freely,

Lisa

Lisa, my son, while in the hospital went through one of those sterioid induced rages. Boy was it embarrassing and scary. Plus - both of us didn't realize that the rages were induced by the meds - the doctors or nurses forgot to tell us. While a bit scary to experience, my son promptly called me - he had "asked" me to leave so I did, but not more than 10 minutes later I got this contrite little boy asking me to return and spend the night with him in the hospital room. When I returned - he explained it was the medicine an when I didn't believe him I asked the nurse who promptly verified this. Perhaps that is why when he was "raging" she didn't react. It passes quickly and they patient is usually very contrite and pleasing after. It is not her - she would definitely be more hurt if you missed the cruise because of her.

I know - my son eventually apologized and said that he was sorry for yelling at me he just didn't know what happened, once of course we knew - things were ok and I was able to breathe through the next one - which last only about 5 minutes! Tell your brother to hang in there and repeat - its not Mom - its the meds!

 :woohoo:

TA called - docs are in - I'm on my way to pick them up.

But I have a question for those with pets?

I have noticed that my Isis is either getting sick or is feeling sublte wind pattern changes - she is moody, sneezing and basically not eating. Not sure if she catching a cold or just saw the suitcases being pulled closer to the bedroom and knows she's about to go to boarding school.

Anyone else experiencing pet problems? One is fine - eats like a horse but the little one - Isis - is playing up the diva part and ignoring me to the hilt! This in just 2 days. What will happen next week?

I have not even got the cases out yet -and when I do I'll make sure the dogs wont see them.

Sally the old one will get very depressed if she sees them:confused:

Of my two, Belle doesn't care a bit if we leave as long as she gets fed and walked, but Linus is a "mommy's boy" and hates for me to leave for any length of time. He has definitely seen the suitcases out and is hanging even tighter to me than usual. I really do hate to do this to him for this length of time, but I'll be back and he can be happy again then . . .

Wendy, I think we are wearing them when we board the ship and at the sailaway party that night. Some one please correct me if I dreamt this up.

Maryann

That is my plan

We fly out on Delta, which has a 50# limit - but what about when we get into Barcelona? Does that mean we'll have trouble getting our luggage then, because it is over the limits? On the Delta website there is no difference between international and domestic weight restrictions.

Luggage is weighed on departure - no problem getting your luggage.
If flying from the U.S., as I understand it, the key issue is whether or not you can check your luggage all the way through to Barcelona. If so, the weight at departure from the U.S. is the one that matters. However, if you're switching airlines or there is no check-through agreement, and you have to recheck your luggage, the weight limit for the subsequent flight comes into play.

It does seem like a lot once you post it like that . . .

No we only have one for them and we do not wish to upset her again, she is already annoyed at the Media.

I will compromise and call you 'madam' (a right proper little madam!!):thumbsup2

Suppose you want Corgis next!

I'll accept madam (it has a bit more of an edge, anyway). . . no corgis for me, however -- my aunt's corgi (Pembroke type) just died yesterday and I'm sad for her, though.

Our daughter too was on steroids for quite a long time when she was small. The rages are something else- you can't imagine how extreme and sudden they are till you've witnessed them. Total personality change and really frightening. I always knew the cause, but wasn't always able to stay detached and unaffected...:sad1:

Lisa- chin up :grouphug: we're all here for you :grouphug:

(MaryAnn- your post was very moving- this trip will be everything you deserve  :flower3: )
