Hi Kidcoos and MrsG

We are from NW England, between Liverpool and Manchester.
Still can't believe what a popular board this is.
I've seen one of the Navigators which triggered my question on the Tux's but wasn't certain if it was 'official' or not, it would certainly make packing easier if we could lose one suit.
Is it worth posting somewhere else on the board or will the answer find us anyway?

WELCOME WELCOME TO THE BRITS MED CRUISE

GREAT PICTURES, POSTED ON ANOTHER THREAD TO WAKE UP TO ON SATURDAY.

How much do the Tshirts cost when ordered on line? I was going to make them myself but with so much going on it seems like it might be a lot easier to just order them.

Sandra

Sandra - t-shirts varied in price $9.95 to $15.99 average. Mayanne suggested standard shipping $7.55 vs. flat rate of $5.00. Just to give you an idea.

I got 5 of them for about $90 - but I paid for faster shipping and got more expensive ones for DD and myself (we're worth it :rotfl: ) So, I thought it was definitely worth it!! Really easy to do - glad that Mary Ann "talked me into it"

Me too Leslie,

I ordered 5 and order came to about $85.

Well, we could wear them to the DISmeet or perhaps on the first day at the Sailaway Party?? What does everyone think??

I'm with you and Dan on this one, I think we should wear them on the 1st day as we board and at the sail away party that way we'll be able to spot each other more easily

Woo hoo :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: another Brit welcome aboard

That does sound nutty Julie. But lots of fun!!!!!!!!! The hardest part would be to go to sleep without reading it.:sad2:

Maryann

I'll read at least a bit before going to bed!

Question about Paris:
We are quite content to wander and take metros on our own while in Paris. But, we really want to do Versaille too and I'm unsure how to organize this one. Should we just take the train there ourselves? Or do you really need a guide to do it justice? Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Take the RER - C and buy an audioguide there if you would like, but I don't think you need a formal guide at all. Be sure to allow plenty of time there -- it is ENORMOUS and just wandering the gardens alone can take hours.

I hope everyone has seen this- I also sent PMs to everyone -I think!@!!!

Hello All Kid Cruisers and Parents !!
Here are your gift bag matches. Gift bags items should total anywhere from 15-20 dollars. The gifts do not have to be Disney or location specific, but many are leaning toward something highlighting their geographic location- but anything will be great!.
The kids will also swap at the DIS meet on Sunday morning with the parents. It should be a lot of fun! If you are not planning to be at the meet- or if for some reason you cant make it- you can arrange a mini swap with your match at anytime!!!
Please mark your bag with a tag or the name of the person the gift goes to. Carley and I loved doing this- I cant wait to watch them all become friends on our journey and feel secure in knowing that they will have friends to play with and spend time with.
If I missed anyone, or if anyone still wants to come on board- I will continue to match, I just need even numbers!!!:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

re post

I got my docs as well and I've started the packing :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Strange thing about the docs. Me, Paul and Josh were all on one document and Ehan was on another one all by himself. Do you think that's 'cos Ethan is a child and all the rest of us are adults ?

Thanks to everyone for all the Paris transfer info. I take it the TGV is a train system. Does anyone know if they have a website?

At DLP do they have a key to the world charge system if we are staying at a Disney hotel?

The Disneyland Paris thread here on the Dis has lots of helpful information. Look at their stickys at the beginning for basic info. I have learned a lot from them!

For traveling to DLP by train info:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1017060

I think I read that you can get a card from your hotel (not necessarily your room key/ park ticket like in WDW) and use that for charges back to your room. However, there were some places (mainly in Disney Village, I think) where it wasn't accepted.

We'll all end up with some sort of hybrid accent - part British, part New York/East Coast, and part California - then on the last night we will all do Karaoke together and the sound will cause all the lights in Studio Sea to explode in a thundering protest.

Documents are here!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Well even after this cruise its still over a year, maybe after your second one it will be under the 365 day mark.

Yes, it will, since we get the Magic back to PC on Sept 1 . . . but 300 plus still sounds like a lot. Of course we don't to hurry our life away losing the day thinking of only of the next vacation . . . carpe diem and carpe momentum!

Well after this one is over, I will start to plan for 2008, I have flights to organize to USA in September, and when they are set, my pre cruise in Disneyland to organize.
