We dont think we look like Brad Pitt, but we try My wife and I have been on the South Beach diet and it has been quite successful. She has really slimmed down and I will be in my speedo by cruise time.

GROUP PALO BOOKING

Just to give clarity to people who have joined us recently.

The adults only restaurant Palo has a private dinning area which I think holds about 14, might be able to squeeze one more in.To book it you have to put in a request in advance, and I did this in 2006 after this cruise was booked and reconfirmed earlier this year.

DCL have my request but will not confirm until 30 days before the cruise so thats about 28th June.

For those of you confirmed before I have your names and DCL ressie numbers.

DCL have these and havent ever said NO so if someone else had got there first, unlikely, as I book fast, I would have presumed they would have told me by now.

Now VIP's use this area so if a celeb wanted it at that time we would get bumped.

Spaces are limited, so I will ask, as soon as DCL 'confirms' is OK, for everyone to reconfirm to me they want to go, you would pay the normal Palo fee in $, the food is exact ally the same, and we have our own host.

So please look out around June 28th.

I do have a waitlist now.

I have known quite a few people book this before and all have obtained their requests.

I believe you have me on the waitlist . . . let me know if space becomes available.

Hi all!! I'm new over here on this board. I'm normally just on the Weddings board but I thought I'd come over and say Hello since I will be traveling on the 11-night cruise on July 28. This is my first Disney cruise so I'm really looking forward to it!!

Any "must sees" or tips for my first Disney cruise??

Well.....I guess all the ladies try to look like Angelina so fair enough. You know...... the speedo comment is best to just let lay dormant I think......

Um, not goin' there.

Assuming we all get on in the "flesh so to speak" as well as we do in cyberland do you think that for those of us on the same dining time we'll be able to put together large tables so that we can eat together ??

I certainly hope we can dine with some of you throughout the trip. Maybe we can swap home stories about tornadoes and footies?

Summer: May to September
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 20:00 to 00:00 h
Shows with music at: 21:30, 22:00, 22:30, 23:00 and 23:30h

How about we meet at the fountain for the 22:30 - this would be a show with music. It would also be dark then for the lights. Then those who want can meet up beforehand and have a meal @ the 4 cats. ( 8pm) This is just a suggestion. I would be happy to organise the meal.


We could meet at the towers around 22:15 ready for the show.
I am going away on holiday tomorrow and wont be back until Sunday3rd June ( Stop jumping up and down joann !)

I really dont know how Im going to cope without my computer -Im treating it as kind of therapy.

I can spend money on my family without batting an eyelash but I always struggled with spending it on myself.....fortunately I got over that. I have to go now because I'm off to the hairdressers.....then a massage.....then take out for dinner.......kidding! But I did actually get over the guilt of spending on myself and I'm quite happy to be rid of that feeling!!!!

NOTE TO SELF: Follow Penny's advice and just GO FOR IT! How long before you got rid of it? Do you think that 18 yrs is long enough? JK - just in the last few years our business has started to take off so even though I know we'll be ok - I still have the little girl from the other side of tracks in me that says- Do You know HOW many people can eat on what you just spent? (Must of been the nun's doing I tell you! )

I actually havent gotten married yet! Our wedding date is next April and we're getting married at WDW So I dont have too much wedding shower experience yet but I'm sure hers will be delightful!

What is a wedding shower? Its something we dont do in the UK???

Helen - its just a party that is given for the new bride prior to the marriage. Very similar I say to a bachelor/bacholertte party but is supposed to be a 'cordial' and proper party. Usually you buy the bride a gift from the registry or just something that you think she may need. Can be for both but usually is something for her. Anybody else with ideas?

The reviews of the excursions are interesting. Not what I expect from Disney but I'm glad they will have had lots of time to straighten everything out by the time we get there.

It's sad to think that the first 11 day Med cruise is coming to an end tomorrow. But that means we are one cruise closer to going ourselves

This is going to be a very different Disney cruise than the usual, I think -- far more port intensive and less ship-centered, although there will always be so much of the Disney magic that we can enjoy, especially on the days at sea. Make sure you see the shows, and do the deck parties . . .

OMG! In a speedo, you'll fit right in on the Cote D'Azur! Too funny -- of course they probably think men in big baggy boxer shorts at the beach are funny, so it's what you are accustomed to.
