Just wanted to share a picture with you of our Princess Jasmine on her first birthday today!

Only animal people can appreciate because she had a real dog birthday with cake and party with our grandsons & neighborhood children...she thinks she is one, but don't ask me whose fault that is.... What can I say, she brings us joy and many, many laughs!

Better yet - everyone bring 1 baby picture and we'll see who can match up with the adult picture!

If we keep coming up with any more ideas of things to bring, we will be over our limit on luggage!! Everytime I try to ketchup I end up with a longer list of things to pack---you have to remember that I am the one who always packs way too much from the get go! If you run out of anything just come to 6550 and we will probably have it!!

I just know we are going to have so much fun and this is going to be the most fun loving group that ever set sail

I have to go shopping tomorrow, and the next day, and the next-----you know aerobic shopping!

For the tee shirt design (keep in mind I am probably the least creative person on the planet so don't flame me ), I agree that the logo Brian made would look great on the front where the pocket would be. Someone (I'm too tired and lazy to go back and see who) suggesting putting our tags on the back. What if we put everyone's tag on the back. This way, we'd have plenty of writing on the back and we wouldn't have to customize everyone's individually. Aurora1959 is making a list (Actually, I think she might have been the one to suggest it). If we wanted, we could put our name on the front (but for someone like me, that would be a nightmare),

I can't take the credit for the idea of the shirt - I think it was Dan who had the idea to put the logo on the front and the list on the back. But i am making the list incase anyone wanted to use it.

I would bring a baby picture, but my mom has them all. I recall someone is located in Montana, maybe they could swing by and pick it up?

How do you guys figure all this stuff out?

Well I posted this earlier, I hope it helps you.

Well to start, I was trying to figure out how you tell when someone is online, when I stumbled upon the buddy list. It will show you who is online and who is not.

What I did next was bring up the window that shows who has posted, and the post count.

I then went into the Buddy list area (just find someone, click on their name and a pop-up comes up and says 'add ____ to your buddy list' - click on that)

In the buddy list area, there is a field where you can add people, then click on save list, or add, or something like that. You'll figure it out when you see it.

So, i copied everyone from the one window, into the buddy list. that way I have the top posters in my buddy list. So when I want to know who is online, i can choose Quick Links > Open Buddy List

Now for the second part.... We have this tool on our notebooks called SnagIt. We have another one called Hypersnap (does the same thing). I used Snagit to capture the picture, then saved it, then posted it like any other picture.

I hope I explained things as clear as mud for you.

But to answer your question, for me personally, it's my nature to poke around and try things out. I'm not afraid to do anything with my computer, if all else fails I just rebuild it. When someone mentioned that you could figure out if someone was online or not, I went to town trying to figure out if there were other ways. I have learned all sorts of new things (new to me).

Just wanted to know if anyone has a relatively new GE dishwasher, within the last 5 years? If you have not heard there is a recall on these because they can start a fire. Several people in are area have had their dishwashers catch fire and cause severe house fires. I just found out that mine is one of the ones recalled. All they will do is replace the wires or give you $150.00 for a new one, but it beats having your house go up in smoke! I didn't know if anyone had heard about this but I had only heard about it on our local news so I thought it might be worth mentioning. I know it is not cruise news, but it could come in to play in the long run in someone's curise plans! Better safe than sorry!

It's taken an hour just to catch up and thea was only from this morning!

And I think I skipped a few pages somehow because there were quotes I didnt' remember seeing originally.

There are so many things. I apologize in advance if I don't have your name, I'm terrible at remembering names.

Brian the banner is wonderful... how did some of you get it into your signature? Some of you are very clever.

Actually we too are affected. I had already heard about it, and I have started passing the word to all my neighbors.

FYI - It affects some Kenmore washers too that were made by GE, but I don't have the details on them. It was somethign i saw when I went on their site to check the details.


And a really big note - your dishwasher is not at risk if you have never used an extra agent like Jet Dry. In fact, my neighbor completed the form saying they never use jetdry. And it said they were not affected. So if your dishwasher falls into the time-line, just say yes and get it fixed.

One more thing. For those of you who like wine, DH bought me 6 bottles of the new wines Disney is having on the Med Cruise for Mother's Day, We've had three (not all at the same time) and they are wonderful.

If anyone is interested in the list. I'll be glad to post it.

We're saving the champagne for when we get our room assignment. We're still GTY 12. It will either be to celebrate an upgrade or to drown our disappointment in the Cat. 12. (I'm just kidding about that we will be perfectly happy in the Cat 12 and especially when we think about the next cruise the discount paid for?)

I really have to get off the computer. DH is getting jealous. And he hasn't even met any of you yet.

About trying to remember names, someone suggest that we all put our names in our signatures. I have done that as I think it is a good way for us to try and learn names.

Once you call GE the parts come really fast. The repair man follows in about a week!

Our previous dog would stop and strike a pose at the sight of a camera, but this one does not stay still to easily. It takes two to take her picture! She will soon learn. They are all different.
