Lets see if this works. What I do for the DIS photo gallery is just right click on the image, go to properties, copy the url, paste it and add img.

I finally learned how to use photobucket and then I read this!

Ok, I just figured out that if you copy the banner as a quote, it will open as a URL image....then copy the URL into your signature. I just tried it and it works! I think that's the easiest way to do it!

So how was everyone's day ? I have to say mine was pretty nasty. We got our pay rise letters today and I got a big fat zero, nadda, nothing so that was a bit of a kick in the teeth. Actually on a serious note tomorrow is a fairly big day for us. We have our school appeal hearing for Joshua secondary school. For those US folks who don't have to go through this here's a very quick summary. He in London you can apply for any school in London. You can select up to 6 school and then depending on the addmission conditions you get a position at one of them (hopefully) Well we were lucky and Josh got offered a place at our 2nd choice school but we wanted him to go to a faith school so thats the appeal hearing we've got tomorrow. Just me and our representative and a panel of 4 and the school rep. I have to admit I'm a bit freaked out by the thought of it so I need you lot to take my mind off it all

Hey - I was in Indianapolis for about 6 months - stationed at Ft Ben Harris.

How long in Paris and as for the Amsterdam part - no one likes a braggert! (Have fun)

Barcelona for 4 days, cruise, Paris for 4 1/2 days and Amsterdam for 3 days.

The big news in the UK today is the unveiling of the 2012 Olympic Logo, it has had a very negative response here, If you haven't seen it yet here it is. What do you think?

Just a note, though to everyone, ::: ahem ::: Signature clipart must be no bigger than 550x200 pixels, and total clipart must not exceed 50,000 bytes or 50kb - or those pesky tech people will send you a warning

The following clipart is 163x175, and 7,971 bytes, so it is within guidelines

The following clipart is 260x280, and 16,673 bytes, so although in bytes it is okay, it is too tall pixel-wise, and shouldn't be used in signatures.

Lisa I would love it - I am hopeless @ remebering names.

I was actually going to suggest people might like to add their name in the signature part as I have to keep going back to page 1 to find out who we all are.

So many of you are travelling on the 2008 repo- what a great cruise that is going to be.

I was trying to explain to my co-workers about this little community, where people end up cruising together and develop these frienships that spill over, and include others.

Yup, they just looked at me with this strange, glazed over look in their eyes.

OMG Julie - this it too funny! We leave Hotel Residence des Arts on Sunday the 12th and move to the Sequoia Lodge on that day and check out on the 15th. Whereas the rest of the family is leaving for the States - I have to get myself back to Barcelona and am trying to narrow down where I want to stay. I saw this beautiful hotel that is a converted Palace and I for one the look of the lobby staircase. I can SOOOO see myself doing a Sunset Blvd, Norma Desmond line...... "All Right Mr. DeMille - "I'm ready for my close-up!" ( I just hope I don't look like this: )

We have so many good entertainers its strange how some have not made it when they should have and some have when they shouldnt have.

My son Daniel will turn 18 while we are on the cruise. Friday Aug 3rd. He is in a room with 3 of his buddies in Deck 5 in the one of the secret porthole rooms right next to Mary Jo (jk)



Before our airline cancelled our flights last month, we were due to fly in the day of the cruise. I was very uncomfortable with this and I looked up www.insuremytrip.com. You need to be very careful, if you go this route as only one of the offered selections covered airline delays less than 24 hours. There was one that covered for under 4 hours, which fit our window. They will reimburse you for expenses to get to the next stop on the cruise....

I haven't spent any real time on the EB2008 or posted there. It's way too busy to keep up with - especially for a cruise that's well over a year away.

It was entertaining/depressing to go back and read the posts from the morning of the reservations. I realize now how lucky I was to get in (not to mention lucky to have woken up early that morning).

I was helping to book cruises that day & started calling before they opened. Got in at 2 minutes after they opened (I think 8am eastern), and was on hold for over 3 hours. Well to start, I was trying to figure out how you tell when someone is online, when I stumbled upon the buddy list. It will show you who is online and who is not.

What I did next was bring up the window that shows who has posted, and the post count.

I then went into the Buddy list area (just find someone, click on their name and a pop-up comes up and says 'add ____ to your buddy list' - click on that)

In the buddy list area, there is a field where you can add people, then click on save list, or add, or something like that. You'll figure it out when you see it.

So, i copied everyone from the one window, into the buddy list. that way I have the top posters in my buddy list. So when I want to know who is online, i can choose Quick Links > Open Buddy List

Now for the second part.... We have this tool on our notebooks called SnagIt. We have another one called Hypersnap (does the same thing). I used Snagit to capture the picture, then saved it, then posted it like any other picture.
