You know Dave had the nerve to suggest a disboard amnesty today.

( Last year I had a disney amnesty 4 weeks before we went, I was not allowed to mention anything disney related to him, thank goodness I had my dis friends to talk too).

I think he is a bit fed up with me boasting that I have 12 pirates -

He's not bovvered

So you've been this way before?

I've shot my bolt back to work tomorrow no more late nights lurking on the DIS I've got to concentrate on other things until 25th July.

of course I could just pop in every now and then to make sure you are not napping!

Thanks for posting that blog...it is making me think twice about that tour. I have 3 kids and one has some health issues and is what I would call frail....I'm not sure this is a good idea for us....I'm so glad that I realized how strenuous it would be before we got into it. It's a shame because I really wanted to see David. Hopefully another time. C'est la vie....

Hi to everyone going on the Disney Magic 28th July, we have just booked yesterday and cant wait!!
Have just finished reading all your postings and its interesting to see how many holidays poeple go on!! espcially Andrew(do you ever have time for work)!! Fair play to you !!
We have never cruised with DCL before although we have stayed at Disney world Wilderness Lodges many times and are looking forward to the Disney cruise experience.
Question for Andrew
We have always had a fantastic time at Disney and find it difficult to see how this can be re created on a cruise ship, how does the quality of the entertainment and service compare to that of the parks and resorts?
If any one has any good tips( we have 2 chilren aged 11 and 8) or can recomend a good hotel in Barcelona as we fly out 2 days early it would be great to hear from you.

We were originally going on the Aug.8 cruise and were booked into a 2 bedroom suite at Hispanos Siete Suiza (near La Sagrada Familia) . . . when we moved to this cruise, we found the Versailles suite at the Hotel Continental Palacete (near Placa Catalunya) and will get there the morning of July 27. I believe they have other rooms that will sleep four.
