July 27 - 7 Day Eastern Cruise

Saw the Dr. again today who changed my toe bandage. Looks gross to me but he is pleased. Still have to keep water off toe and wear dumb shoe but I can try on a closed shoe next Tues. I'm gonna make it! Thank you Tracy, Karen, Dena, Tyla and Anne for your offers of help and the "poor baby's". You guys are a great group and I'm looking forward to meeting you in person. The best Get Well offer was from Laura....THANKYOU! who is bringing "A MANDOLINO" for serenades and cuddling. I knew she would find an Italian stud for me. Does the A stand for Antonio? Angelo? Alberto? My toenail accident could have been worse. At least it wasn't a root canal. Oops, sorry, Tracy.

LOL, Linda! There is ONE benefit to having root canals - nitrous oxide! Whee! They really should make it available in a convenient, carry-around canister for when the numbness wears off, though... That's really when I need it! I can't wait to see your new Italian "A" beau - perhaps he'll carry you everywhere? How romantic! :D

Linda, so sorry about your toe. But don't worry, a first aid kit was one of the first things I packed, so if you need anything - we are just down the hall from all of you. These medical problems seem to have found us as well:( Taylor tripped and fell on the tile floor and now has a huge swollen eye. Fortunately, it doesn't seems as if she broke anything and her eyesight is ok. Lets just hope this means we are all going to have a safe and healthy trip! Tracy - did you see Castaway? Make sure you have those teeth taken care of!!

Lord, have mercy on us! We'll be quite a sight once we're all together, won't we?! I'm glad Taylor's eyesight is ok - poor little girl! :(

Yes, indeedy, I saw Castaway and I couldn't watch him pull his tooth out - it gives me chills just to think about it! Russell was nice enough to warn me about that part so I could hide my eyes!

I have Russell just about packed! He was a little frustrated this evening trying to get the garage door back on its track so the kids went outside and I went upstairs; we needed to be out of his way for a while! He's got it fixed, so we're all smiles again!

I'm all packed and posting with my feet up. All I have to do is pay next months bills so my husband can mail them when we're gone and go to the Nordstrom sale on Friday. I spent all day planning a trip to Vegas in August. I'm hoping to get lucky and pay for this Disney cruise. :)

Ugh, Karen! I did NOT need to read this! ;) So fly on over here, help me pack tomorrow, then I'll fly back with you to go to Nordstrom's! Our closest one is on the Magnificent Mile and I do NOT go downtown unless I have to... unless there's a Cubs vs Astro's game! LOL

Well, I do have to have a jump on it because I'm leaving MONDAY. The Nordstrom anniversary sale is an annual ritual around here, just like Christmas. It would be sinful to miss it.

I can't wait for all of those "hired hands" to be fixing me dinner and making my bed. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Hewwo, evwybody! I now sound wike Elmer Fudd! I'm numb up to my eyewids and it's vewy hard to tawk! :D As long as I don't feel the dental work, I'll be just fine! LOL I may not need another root canal; the dentist seems to think it's just sympathy pains... I wish the sympathy pains belonged to someone else, though....

How is Taylor this morning? Did anyone get a look at the guy she hit? ;) That's how I "distract" my kids when they get a boo-boo... Usually works, although it takes a while.

We had an exciting evening trying to catch a wayward hamster! Peekaboo is very smart and has learned how to unlatch the ball he rolls around in. Sigh... I happened to glance over at the piano and saw him and he stayed still long enough for me to grab him! He seemed glad to be caught and was happily munching on an apple slice as I carried him back up to his cage! Our other hammy, Whiskers, doesn't like small spaces at all (anyone ever seen a hamster go berserk? It's not a pretty sight...) so he doesn't get out of his cage unless we're cleaning it.

Russell promised me we'd pack tonight, yeah right, so I'm doing lotsa laundry today. Devin made coffee for me this morning, but I talked her out of breakfast! I think she wanted to watch me try and chew, such a mean kid! LOL I can handle my coffee thru a straw, but forget food until the numbness wears off!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!! Only about a week to go - yeeha!!!

Taylor is doing better, still swollen and a small scab - hopefully no scar! Karen - when are you going to Vegas and where are you staying. I love to play craps, but I don't think I'll play in St. Martins. What is your favorite game. My mother is a black-jack whiz and does Vegas at least three times a year. This Disney trip is actually in lieu of a Vegas trip in June - I'm much happier with Disney anyway!! It will be nice to hopefully spend some time with the kids.

I can't wait - it's almost here.:bounce: :bounce:

:)

Saturday night I will update for the last time the who's who file.
There are still some information missing (a few room numbers, late / early seatings ...).
If you want to update your information, please send me an email before saturday night.
;) ;) ;) ;)

Hey everyone!! I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you (only one week to go)!! :bounce: However, I'm also worried that we may not all get to meet up at 3:00 due to spa/palo reservation lines or check-in or whatever BUT I DO PLAN TO BE THERE. But as a safeguard (and as part of the planner in me) could we also arrange to meet again, at say lunch at Parrot Cay on Sunday?? We would have more time to chat and get to know each other. What do you all (or ya'll as we say down here in the south) think of that idea?:D

Hey everybody!! We are all getting very excited at our house!! We can't focus too much on packing til next week though because Conner and Chase are ring bearers in a wedding this weekend. We had the rehearsal/dinner last night. There is a 6 year old flower girl that Conner had met before at vacation bible school. She has beautiful big blue eyes and long, curly blonde hair. I think Conner's in love!!:D He was playing it real cool, of course, but when he realized we knew, he blushed a deep purple. LOL. It was hysterical! Naturally, Chase is tagging along behind them oblivious to the blossoming romance.

The boys have tux's with tails for tonight. They are absolutely adorable!! Unfortunately, the wedding's not until 7:00, so it will be another late night for them. I guess we'll skip church and let everyone sleep in tomorrow.

After all that, I can finish the packing. I did have to get a cargo carrier afterall. I'm still crossing my fingers that all this luggage plus the six of us are going to fit in and on my van!:D

Talk to you soon!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

drl,
We are having the same problem with six of us, and no room for the suitcases:confused: We have a cargo carrier, but our Expedition doesn't have a lot of cargo room when you use all three seats. Let me know what you workout.:D
We are all excited and really ready to go:bounce: :Pinkbounc I will pack Monday & Tuesday. Then it is off we go!:Pinkbounc We can't wait to meet everyone, this has made the trip even more of an exciting adventure.:p
See you all in FLORIDA:bounce: :Pinkbounc

I think we're just about packed, except for a few essentials that have to be put in Friday! OHMYGOSH, I'm excited! I sure hope I don't forget one of the kids! ;)

The next one will be our last post.
There will be the last version of the Who'swho list.
The file has been already sent to most of you; if you didn't get it, let me know :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Packing is done; Marco will have two more working days:(
while Laura will visit her parents near Lake Maggiore :sunny:

On Wednesday, very early morning (is it already morning at 4.00 AM?), we will leave home heading to the airport ...

See you really soon !

Lisa

Hey Lisa! We're on first seating, too! :D We must be special, huh?! LOL I think Anne is waiting to see if they can get first seating, too.... It's now 5:30 that we eat (I hope we can corral all the kids!) Aw heck, maybe we can change to late seating if we need to!!!! :bounce:

I was thinking late seating sounded better now also but think I'll just stick with first! I don't like to be stuffed late at night and with little Will, 1st will be better I'm sure!:)
