Ya think? I have had some mixed reviews

The location is fantastic! We have stayed deck 5 forward and are in a SPH this cruise. You get minimal hall traffic forward and aft. We have only stayed aft one time on deck 2 and expected to hear noise when docking but did not. You are just a few floors down from the pool & food and a couple floors up from the dining rooms, adult clubs and atrium. I found out last cruise that I don't like the midship locations due to noise. We were on deck 7 near the midship elevators and could hear the noise from the atrium's activities whenever they used a mike [like during the auction] and when there was a big crowd the noise carried as well. The other 5 cruises we have been far forward and never heard anything.

We were (briefly) in the very forward cabins on deck 5 once. I say briefly because we upgraded the first night. But those rooms are right on top of the Walt Disney Theater and you could pretty much hear the whole show through the floor. We were glad that we upgraded.

Thank you......Our last cruise on the magic, I think we were 6th or 7th, can't remember it has been too long ago, LOL. I love disney cruises so I don't care, just excited to go.........

Yes, if you are in the room instead of at dinner or the show then you will hear that; however, we are always at both or out of the room at that time so it didn't bother us. We were in 5503 for the PC repo and they practice at night for the extra shows that they perform on the longer cruises. I listened to Phantom of the Opera music for the magic show until 1 am one night. The day were were in Aruba Aly & AJ boarded and practiced that afternoon for the show that night. DD was VERY happy to hear them in the room and was dancing all over belting out the songs right along with them. I figured since anyone else in their room at that time wouldn't hear DD over the music. So, if you have young kids who nap during the day that probably wouldn't be the area for you.

wow someone got our cabin then (if it is sold out)since we switched to the Dream....take lots of pictures!!

Just found out our rooms onboard and we are on Deck Two while Brack & Jen are on Deck 6! :scared1: Dreams Unlimited says that the ship is fully booked so we can not be together. :sad2:

Just realized that to change my profile any then I have to have made several posts. It has been a long time since I started on this board. :lmao:

Hi everybody! This is the least active I have been on any cruise thread, which is uncharacteristic for me!

Work has been too busy, and everything has been so crazy that I have not had much time to be on the DIS and Facebook.

We finally made all of our reservations for the trip . . . Staying at the Cedarbrook Lodge in SeaTac for the 24th, Amtrak on the 25th to the Pan Pacific in Vancouver, then the train back to SeaTac on the 2nd and staying at the Doubletree SeaTac on the 2nd and fly out on the 3rd. Just one car ride and we will have Planes, Trains, and Automobiles!

This trip is a little more stressful since we are totally unfamiliar with the lay of the land - not like going to Orlando, Disney, and Cape Canaveral!

Nice to see the group growing doing Fish Extenders, but we probably won't opt in this trip. I am too worried about luggage and room for stuff!

Hard to believe it is getting so close!

That is the way GTYs go unfortunately. Thank goodness you don't have young kids and have the family split up like that!

I have to say, for a Company where one of the largest stockholders is Steve Jobs, Disney has the most MISERABLE website for DCL, that cannot handle traffic, constantly times out, and constant errors.

I tried to to get my cruise plans THREE times tonight, and not only does it error, but it logs me out, and makes me log in and retrieve my reservation!

I give up!
