I am pretty sure ours is March 25 . . .

Can I tell you how crazy trying to plan this is making me? Trying to get there, and get home, and do it all economically has me pulling out my hair. WHY is it soooo expensive to fly into Vancouver?

I think we will be flying into Seattle - even so still not cheap from the midwest.

We are planning to fly into Seattle and spend a few days with some friends from our last cruise.

If anyone has figured out how to rent a car in Seattle and turn it in at the Port and then do the whole thing in reverse again, we'd love to know how to do it!

Our payment is March 12th.

We are flyng into Seattle too because of the cheaper airfare. We are planning on taking the train the next day up to Vancouver.

We have the hotel booked in Vancouver but are still looking around for someplace to stay in the night Seattle.

Anybody made hotel reservations yet? We're thinking about booking through Hotwire or Priceline, but not sure.

Getting excited! I made our final payment this afternoon! Maybe I should start packing?!?!?!?

We're staying the night before the cruise at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport and then taking the DCL transfers to the port in the morning. I'm too nervous about being in a city I don't know to leave the airport without a DCL escort........ HA!!! Hopefully we will be able to keep ourselves occupied for the few hours we're there.

Is there a list somewhere of those of us participating in the fish extenders yet? I have a couple ideas of gifts I'd like to give. One question - do we do a little something each day (or every few days) or one gift for the entire trip?

Normally when we've done Fish Extender exchanges in the past, we have done one gift for the cruise - definitely not every day. Some other folks opt to do more than one delivery or to customize them for kids or adults in each cabin. It's really up to you.

I don't think we have a list yet...But I'm happy to help if the organizers need anyone.

Just dropping by to say "hello". We are still cruising with you. Our payment date is March 28. This cruise is a complete surprise for our children. They think we are just going to Vancouver to visit Grandma and their older sister. Boy will they be surprised. They are going to dance camp the week before we leave for this vacation so that will give me the opportunity I need to get everything packed and ready to go. Will lock the suitcase with the formal wear in as they wouldn't believe me that that was for Grandma's. One of our girls will turn 13 on the cruise (July 28). Our other two girls have had cruises on their birthday but this one has not because it has always been audit season at work. However, we have changed our yearend this year so now we can take a cruise on her birthday. She will be especially excited but they all will be because we have only cruised on the Disney Magic. They will love to see the Wonder. Hope to go on the Fantasy in 2012. Take care and we will see ya real soon.

Hi guys! Now that the paid-in-full date is upon us, I am trying to get organized for this trip.

Does anyone have a complete (so far) FE list yet? I'm happy to do it, but don't want to repeat work that someone else has already done. I'm just trying to get an estimate of how many gifts I need to get organized.

Finally, I think we should set a cutoff date for sign-ups. There are always folks that come at the last minute (I always make a few extra for latecomers, because I don't want anyone to be left out), but I know I need some time to plan. In fact this year, I'm moving and will be departing on June 26 - a full month before the cruise! So I need the final count before then. What do you guys think about setting June 15 as the cutoff date?

No room assignment for us yet; still GTY. I guess if I were to go ahead pay our balance they might give us a room but I hate spending money until I absolutely have to! I was going to wait until tomorrow but just might go ahead today.
