Stonehenge is quite a way outside London and needs a day trip it will take some driving to get there and back depending on traffic it's a couple of hours each way. Places like Windsor are far closer for an example. Coach tours are a good idea.

Last time we had booked Anastasia for two days and we had the same guide and same driver both days do we tipped them both St the end of the two days. In the paperwork from them they say that it's 10% of your tour cost that is the typical tip. We did a bit over that, and I paid for our guides lunch, when we eat as well, to be honest it was very cheap anyway.

Their tickets say;-

TIPPING Gratuities to the guide and driver are not included in the price of the tour. In Russia it is usually 10% of the cost of a tour and will be highly appreciated by Your personal assistants, however always remains at Your option.

PRIVATE TOUR. All tours are completely private. You'll get Your personal experienced tour guide, professional driver and private comfortable vehicle for the entire duration of Your tour. You will not have to join any tourist groups, unless You specifically require sharing Your trip and other people agree with this option.


GUIDE. You'll be accompanied by the professional full-licensed tour guide (speaking the requested language) at all times. She/he will offer both outside and inside tours.


VEHICLE. You'll be provided with the comfortable vehicle with air-conditioning systems and all safety features in a place.

Thanks. Yes I saw the blurb in the travel docs about 10% after I typed that.....guess I should read first . So you tipped both after second day, did you ask if the same guide and driver were coming back for day 2? My thought was to tip at the end of second day but never thought that I may have different guide and driver. Thx so much for your help.

You are likely to be assigned the same guide and driver both days, if that's not the case they will inform you. They get to know you what you like etc and they have your schedule which may adjust in places due to needs.
