Please let us know if there are any stores like Target near the Waterloo train station. Thank you!

I think the UK version is Superdrug, There are shops inside the station like Marks and Spencer ( food and wine) albeit a higher priced version, and WH smith. ( books and papers) There is a boots in there that's a pharmacy and over the counter medicines and stuff like shampoo soap etc.

There are shops directly outside, London Eye side.

I've only ever been in a Super Target but I'm not sure I'd say Supergroup is the UK equivalent as was suggested earlier. What sort of things are you wanting to buy, as I suspect the right answer will depend on what you need...

I mentioned Superdrug, as it is similar to target in the USA Boots is close but more just a pharmacy.

Sure, wasn't criticising just remembering what I've bought at Target in the past (clothes, homeware) and knowing that Superdrug doesn't sell that sort of thing. Not sure what the right answer is but if ICEMANPAD can confirm what they are looking for we can I'm sure between us make a more informed suggestion.

Yes understood, They are an expanded store, yes more than superdrug but I think thats the closest I can say, yes depends what they want to get I assumed for the cruise. I went in a few in the USA when we were there, we won Target gift vouchers on a cruise.

There is a Tesco Express on Waterloo Road too for snacks, basic groceries etc. at a marginally less inflated price than the station itself. As others say, let us know what you are seeking and we can point you in the right direction. In Central London you will not find an equivalent to Target or walmart which sells a full range from groceries to homeware to clothing

Also
At Vauxhall there is a big sainsbury's and Clapham Junction an ASDA part of Wallmart, - both can be seen from the railway.

Shopping is best at
Westfield malls.
1/ @stratford. Olympic park area.
2/ @Sheherds bush. West London.

Both directly out the station with lots of shops and supermarkets like waitrose.

Thank you for the feedback! We are looking for a store where we can buy things such as shampoo, toiletries and maybe some last minute items while we are visiting London and before we board the Magic. The hotel we will be staying at is near the Waterloo station. It always seems as though we forget something while traveling and wherever we travel in the US there seems to be a Target type store!

Yes so you have

Boots in the station inbetween platforms that will do that.

If your out and about.

Superdrug as well.

Or our supermarkets
  • Sainsburys
  • Tesco
  • Asda
  • Waitrose
  • Marks and Spencer.

Try to avoid ones that say Express, or Local as they are for commuters and slightly more expensive.

Does anyone know what time the Dover cruise terminal will open the morning that we sail?
