Hercules show in theater

Is anyone else confused/sad/surprised that they are doing a show on the Destiny that they already did on the Wonder years ago? It is bad enough that they don’t change shows on the ships but now they are reusing shows from the past. Isn’t Disney’s IP catalog large enough to find a different show?

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that the guy playing Hades, Matthew Patrick Quinn, also played Hades in Hadestown on tour and for a short Broadway stint.

I think I might be disappointed if it was already playing on a different ship, but we are thrilled to be catching it on the Destiny later this month!

We are planning to catch Zootopia 2 instead of Seas the Day since we’ve already seen it a few times, but anticipating Hercules will be a highlight of our sailing.

I imagine the staging is quite different from what they had before. The Moana show on the Treasure is amazing. So I don’t think the Destiny’s marquee show would be sub par.

My first sailing was in 2012. The original Hercules was long gone from the ships by then. So no, I don’t think bringing back Hercules is a bad thing at all. Most sailers won’t have seen the original, and Hercules is a GREAT film. I’m excited for my Destiny sailing just for this.

I'm thinking that the shows are different. They may have the same name, but they aren't going to be the same show.

I believe they are 2 different shows. The current one is Disney Hercules, while the first one was Hercules the Muse-ical. I saw the first one in 2000, and honestly, I don't remember a thing about it, so even if the new one was the same, it wouldn't matter to me.

I’m more annoyed Destiny has Frozen…3 ships now have Frozen which is too many.
