1. Pick up points will be confirmed, once I know where everyone is staying in London. There will be a final Central London pick up point (should you oversleep etc..) that gives you a second chance to catch the coach. Everybody got to Port OK in 2010 and there was about 70 of us....

2. Time of departure will be about 09:00ish and we got to Port in time for first boarding in 2010.

3. Currently I have a list for London - Dover, we are doing back to back cruises so staying on to Barcelona. However, I am organising a coach for the 3rd August Dissers to Dover. If there is enough interest I will organise a return to Airports/London, people will have to let me know or Ii can help with smaller groups doing private transfers.

Hope that answers a few questions for all....:thumbsup2

bceagle76,

At the moment all I need is names and numbers of passengers. We are charging £20 per seat which is roughly $30. Once people book hotels, I can organise pick up points. In 2010 we picked up from several central London hotels and had a final pick up point at the Park Plaza County hall hotel.

Let me know by PM if you want to book the seats.:thumbsup2

Port or Starboard? We just realized we are on the starboard side and we had thought we had asked for port. I know the Dover cliffs are on the port side. What about the other ports? Should we have our travel agent switch this?

Thanks!

You know, I was thinking about this very thing just the other day! On our 2010 Baltic Disney cruise, we were on the starboard side. I remember that we docked port-side in Copenhagen, Stockholm, and St. Petersburg. Tallinn was not on our itinerary. I can't remember how we docked in Dover and Helsinki. (In Oslo and Warnemunde, we docked starboard-side.) In the end, though, I think it might be difficult to predict how the ship will dock during our cruise since it will depend on what "slips" are available when we arrive. :confused3 But, it does seem docking was mostly port-side last time. You could always check availability and switch, if possible. Good luck deciding! :goodvibes

Dover Starboard to terminal port has the view of town, harbour and white cliffs.

Copenhagen think we are in a different dock for 2015 as we stay overnight. Last time starboard had the sea channel view, port industrial view.
Stockholm, Port terminal view, starboard water channel and island view, going in and out has joint great views.
Helsinki, not been before.
St Petersburg, it's a new concrete pier you do not see anything bar ship terminal and other ships, starboard to terminal and port may see hydrofoils.
Tallinn there we were forward on and we should have another ship against us, last time was RCL and they prompted a horn battle.

We were starboard in 2010 we are port in 2015 overall most of the time it doesn't matter in the Baltic often your in mid sea and do not see a lot of land, Copenhagen Zealand you may go under the famous bridge but both sides will see it.

Starboard tends to get the terminal as they have the deck three entrance to use.

My wife (TiggerPU88) has checked in, but - since a very memorable visit to Coronado Springs and 3 parks in one rainy late-September weekend - I am a "convert." And we all know that converts are the most fervent believers.
.
While I don't see much point in the Caribbean going-in-circles cruises, we had an unbelievably enjoyable and world-expanding experience on the EBTA back in 2010. Madeira, Cadiz, Gibraltar -- places we would never see on our own -- combined with unbelievable DCL service and crew/cast of thousands (literally) attending to our every need.

We joined up with another family of 3 (same age'd son) on the DisBoards before the trip, ate dinner with them almost every night and have kept in touch / stayed friends with them since. A drink cozy from the trip - listing all our Ports of Call, and given out to our fellow FE'er -- is still one of my favorite souvenirs.

So when we both recently snagged much better jobs, looked at each other, and jointly realized "How/where/when could we ever have a better 16 days together (including several days in London)?" We examined our annual budget, accepted "a sign" from a big tax refund, and figured that 16 months of savings might just do it.

A lot can change between now and then -- be glad Disney's not planning stops in Odessa this summer -- but I trust in the quality and preparation and service of DCL. As our family recalls from back-to-back Caribbean cruises on the Dream during Hurricane Irene in 2011, plans can sometimes change.

Hoping we get a trip that meets our high expectations . . .

Doug.
