Hi Everyone!

I've been away for a few days and just got caught up on the posts and my private messages! I updated the roster on Page 1 again, as well. :thumbsup2

:welcome: Goofydisneyfan! :flower3:

We absolutely can not wait for this cruise to get here!!! :goodvibes "Only" 369 days to go! ;)

Just moved an OBB from the Southern Caribbean to this one. Changed jobs and new job doesn't let me travel first half of the month. So we decided to join this one. Had been looking at it since it come out... so we are excited. Did the med to Greece last summer as our first Disney Cruise. Will be me, DH and DS8. He had so much fun with the boys he met at our Dis meet last year. Looking forward to that opportunity again.

My parents did the Baltics while we did the Med so I am having my dad contact the company he used for a 4 city tour. He arranged everything for a group on his ship. Once I know more I can pass along the info.

We are booked to celebrate my dd's high school graduation. All of the destinations will be firsts for us! We are excited.

:goodvibes

Hi Everyone,

My wife and daughter and I are super excited to be joining you all next year!

We've cruised before - but never with Disney or to the Baltic - so plenty to look forward to!

Now to read the rest of the posts here and get my posts total up over 10!

:)

Thanks, Deb. I'm also hoping to join the FE Exchange as well!

Awesome! Well then, let's get your posts up to ten! :)

So, this is your first Disney Cruise! You're going to love it! One great perk we've found over other cruise lines is the free 24-hour drink station on the pool deck! What other cruise lines have you sailed on?

Sounds great! We've sailed with P&O previously. We were on vacation in Orlando back in January - and saw a couple of TV documentaries on Disney cruise (ships) - we were seriously impressed! And then - when we saw that Disney Magic was going from Dover/UK - that was the clincher for us! (no flights!)

There are a LOT of Brits on this cruise. :thumbsup2 The resounding theme is how happy you all are for not having to take long flights to go on this cruise. :goodvibes I'm envious - we don't live in an area close to any port, so we'll always encounter flights to take a cruise. But, it's worth it! :woohoo:

What were you most impressed about when watching the documentaries? One thing to be aware of is that each of the Disney ships offer different entertainment options, so what you might find on The Fantasy won't necessarily be on The Magic. We haven't sailed on The Magic since her last dry dock, so we're eager to see all the new areas. :) We're thinking about booking a cruise on The Magic this fall. ;)

Yay no flights! We're another British family too and are so looking forward to not having to fly.
You'll love sailing out of Dover- the ship goes past the white cliffs and if the sun is shining they are beautiful!

So, any 5-6 year olds going to be on board from this group? Sounds like some 7s and the rest older (but I haven't yet read every post). Our younger daughter will be almost 6 and she gets tired of always hanging out with her big sis (will be almost 8).

Hi AmericanExPat,

My daughter will be 5 by the time of the cruise, next year... It would be great for her to get to meet/know some of the others her age onboard...

Yay! Looks like a few in that age group now. We met up with a few DISboarders last cruise and it was so cool running into them all the time, all over the ship! We'll be interested in doing a Meet n Greet at some point early on.

Great - let's do that! (Plenty of time to make plans?!)

The documentary was on the (recent?) Magic refit. To be honest - we were impressed by lots of things - the decor, the entertainment, the cabins, the facilities etc etc!! Yes, you've guessed it - we're sooo excited! (Already!)

Yay Osric, you're already up to six posts! :thumbsup2

I have to admit that DH and I are quite excited about this cruise, too! :goodvibes We're very fond of The Magic since she was the first ship we ever sailed on, way back in 1998 (her Inaugural year!). We've been fortunate to sail on her again three more times (Mediterranean, Mexican Riviera, and Baltics). We're eager to see all the new changes! :)

Having been to the Baltics on DCL already, we know what to expect, and that is a great feeling! The only new port for us is Tallinn. Plus we get to spend more time in London, which is a great bonus for us! :goodvibes

Will you try the AquaDunk? It will take a bit of courage for me to do it, but I'm determined to try it at least once. :scared1:

Can't wait!!!!!! :hyper:
