Can anyone share the name of town/area/destination that goes all out for Thanksgiving?

Years ago we did Thanksgiving in WDW thinking it would be amazing and only turkey we found was Main Street turkey legs which was not great, so not that.

We're in Massachusetts and while tour businesses do well (I saw quite a few tour groups in Boston yesterday) and the Plymouth museum is here (went once while staying on the Cape & it was a cute day) but it's otherwise a whole lot of quiet so we are traveling.

We are heading up further North for this Thanksgiving but I am hard pressed to find enjoyable things to do over the long weekend... so much nothin.

Are there places that have embraced Thanksgiving for tourists? I do love me a tourist trap, the cheesier the better

Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth , NH does Thanksgiving tours, https://www.strawberybanke.org/thanksgiving-guided-tours.
I thought Old Sturbridge Village would have something, as Christmas was not widely celebrated in tge late 18th-early 19th centuries in New England, but the have gone right through to Christmas on Thanksgiving weekend, https://www.osv.org/
We were planning on stopping in Portsmouth on our drive up. Last spring we visited and really liked the town, it was cute, family friendly and a bit artsy, we particularly loved the big high end food court building with the fireplace seating as we nibbled on different offerings and all so we were sad it won't be open for this visit.

Stockbridge, MA
We haven't made our way to the Berkshires, never went further West than UMASS Amherst while our daughter was there. I've heard they are pretty, are there town wide events or is it more of a New England picturesque sort of place to visit?

Currently watching the Thanksgiving parade in Plymouth on Channel 5. We were gonna go but it’s cold and rainy.
We really love Plymouth as a seaside town and like to go in the nice weather it has a nice vibe with so many restaurants and all. No idea how I never saw anything about a Thanksgiving Parade, I do look around but never town by town - we so would have gone... bummer to miss it.

Ohhh that would be nice, my daughter is in VA now, maybe that would be fun for next year, is it woofie friendly? Anything in particular to look for as we pick a hotel location and all?
The Holiday Inn on the Oceanfront is GOATED. Great ocean views and lots of dining options.

I do however recommend driving away from the oceanfront one of these days. There are plenty of great hole in the wall restaurants. A place I frequent is called FeLynn’s. It’s an authentic Filipino restaurant with hearty specialties like chicken teriyaki, adobo, rice and so much more!
