JULY 2020 DCOM Summer Exercise Challenge

Yay! Twilight Sparkle and 4Mickeys have both reached All for One Orange!

I don't know about you, but ORANGE always makes me think of Halloween! And there are a lot of Halloween DCOMS.

Perhaps the most well-known Halloween DCOM is Halloweentown!

This movie came out in 1998 and it follows Marnie who, on her 13th birthday, learns she's a witch, discovers a secret portal, and is transported to Halloweentown -- a magical place where ghosts and ghouls, witches and werewolves live apart from the human world. But she soon finds herself battling wicked warlocks, evil curses, and endless surprises. It's a pretty fun movie with lots of creepy-cute costumes!

48 minute long run today.

I think I saw this recently, either on Disney + or one of the cable free views. I enjoyed it! There isn’t much on TV I watch any longer.

A pretty hot week here, but I managed 90 minutes total - weights, walking, gardening.
160/600
A bit of a bummer today - I canceled our October trip for Food andWine - I just can't see being in such crowds until there's a vaccine. It'll be only the second time we'll miss it since 2001! Oh, well ;(
@ljcrochet - sounds like turf toe - ugh!
@Elizabeth Smith - I'll have to catch up on the movies during the next heat wave!

@BonnieF, I wanted to like your minutes and send a sad hug about your trip at the same time.

@Elizabeth Smith, I love Halloweentown! It was one of my favorite DCOMs and I still watch it when it's on TV every October. 🦇

@ljcrochet, how is your DD doing??

I have 25 minutes for yesterday and 15 for today = 225/600

(edited typo: 228 to 225)

Her toe is broken. I have to call the ortho in the morning. It is almost a year to the day when my other daughter broke her finger which she need surgery on and it still isn't healed properly. Doctor had talked about going in for a second surgery to remove scar tissue but decided her finger was not strong enough for that. The dr was actually going to send her information to a pediatric hand specialist in philly to see if there was anything else he could do.

I would up switching the bootcamp for an on demand one so I didn't have to worry about timing.
7/11 - 67 minutes
7/12 - 58 minutes

565/700 - I'm wondering if I should increase my minutes. I had no clue when I started this month I would be doing the peloton bootcamp workouts 5-6 times a week.

Yay for color-changes! Bonnie F has reached All for One Orange, I have reached Possible Purple, and ljcrochet has reached Pixel Perfect Pink!

In honor of ljcrochet's transformation, let's look at the movie that inspired the name of our pink color: Pixel Perfect.

I honestly think this movie was ahead of it's time. It came out in 2004 and was about a digital, holographic pop star. A few years later, vocaloid artists and the famous Tupac hologram were invented. Maybe this movie inspired them?

I feel your pain! We just cancelled our December trip which means no Disney trips or cruises this year. Hubby is having serious withdrawals.

Great job on the workouts! Sorry about the injuries.
