July 2016 Check in!!

We booked Cafe Orleans, Carnation, Storytellers breakfast, Blue Bayou PTN dinner, WOC dinner at Wine Country Trattoria, and the WOC Dessert party (shhh, it's a secret!)

We debated the PTN package... we were going to eat a BB once anyways so we'll see how it goes. The dessert party is a surprise/belated birthday gift for my fiance. I'm hoping I can avoid telling him until it's time to line up for WOC.

@clb79 I love your surprise road trip! That is so cool!

I'll be there from the 15th to the 23rd. Will be there for business primarily, but will have a couple full days and as many nights as I want. Staying at the Hilton. Planning on not planning!

Well, I booked the Carnation Cafe for a 5pm dinner. Out of all the times we've been to DLR, I don't think we've ever eaten there. Or if we have, it has been a while. I thought maybe we might also try Plaza this time too. Another one we just walk on by. And we also added a stop at Hearst's Castle on the way home after our trip. Never been there either.

I just booked a quick solo trip, July 15-16, YAY! Staying at the Del Sol since it was the best deal on Harbor with Orbitz promo code and Orbucks. It's amazing that there are so many new things to do since my trip in March...Luigi's, Frozen, and the new Soarin'! Can't wait!

Guess I will officially join in. :) We are driving :car: from Oregon and will be down there July 16-24. We have always stayed with family but that didn't work out for this trip. This will be my first trip staying in a hotel near the parks (three of my kids have stayed in hotels with their dad). We are staying at the HoJo Anaheim. I chose it for a few reasons .... the water park for my youngest, it was in decent walking distant for us, it has enough space for myself and my 4 kids, and it was one of the very few hotels that had rooms last minute.

We will be celebrating a graduation and 2 birthdays :cake:. My daughter graduated high school and was accepted at Biola (just around the corner from Disney) and my son will be 17 on the 19th and my youngest daughter will be 6 on the 22nd. My daughter has no idea we are going and she is going to be over the moon excited when she finds out she is going on her birthday.

Haven't stayed there but I've heard very good things about it. I was just looking on the Disney website for our dates to check hotels and they are all booked up. We are staying at Candy Cane but I was curious what the prices for other places were.
Now you'll have to go down to "visit" (wink wink) your daughter at Biola a lot! My sister graduated from there and I went to Westmont for a time before transferring. Sounds like a great trip!

I am SO excited! All our reservations are made. Found a hotel for the drive to and from for 6 people (that wasn't a dive). Goofy's Kitchen reservations done. Now to wait until we can start packing! YAY!!
Anyone ever stay at The Camelot (family suites)? I'd love some opinions.

We are pretty excited as we have heard great things also. I booked through HoJoAnaheim directly as the price was lower. If you want to see what prices look like put in one day at a time and see what is available. I almost booked the Grand Legacy at the Park because HoJo was booked solid for the dates we wanted. I decided to try the site again and it was all open.
I am hoping to make a March 2017 trip to "visit" my daughter at Biola.

Glad you got the dates you wanted! I thought about checking one day at a time but didn't care that much to spend the extra time. LOL! I was just curious.

We will be there from July 29-1. We are staying at the hilton and have our GK reservation made
