Hope everyone just leaving has a wonderful time! We just got back on Tuesday evening --had a terrific vacation! We absolutely LOVED POFQ!

We were able to do a few walk up reservations - Le Cellier, Chefs de France, and Crystal Palace!

Saw the July 4th fireworks at DHS - it was great, they had Mulch Sweat & Shears playing for an hour before and then during the show. It was really fun and nice to be entertained while waiting.

Only had a few storms while we were there, no major rain outs though.

By the time we left there were a LOT of tour groups arriving.

We board our flight in 24 hours. Only 6 hours of work today. WOW!!!!

I dont know if I am more excited to be away from work or vacation at Disney.. BOTH of course..

This week sure has come and almost gone in a blink of a eye! I can't believe we leave in 8 days! I think you may be able to move us up a day too. We had planned to leave on Friday and stay at the beach until Sunday morning, but those plans have changed. We are now driving down on Sat and doing the entire drive in 1 day! Not exactly what I want to do, but thats the plan now... I have to call to see if we can get a day added to our reservation.

As I said before, plans changed. Its been a eventful week here. I think I mentioned before about all of the job closing around here. Well, my DH job shut down on Tuesday. At 830am on Tuesday, it didn't appear he had a job. We were in full panic mode. But I got a grip. Remembered we could still go to Disney and that my God was bigger then any of this mess. By 1030am, his job had called and sent him to another job. As of today, he was told as long as the company he works for is still in business, he has a job!!! Praise the Lord!!!! So, short of having a long drive in one day, everything worked out fine. Now to go read and catch up!

Question of the day...
What is one of your most magical Disney memories?

OK, I have 2!! One for each of my beautiful sons...both from our first family trip.

1. My big one (he was 3 and a half at the time) being so mesmerized by the fireworks that we were able to see from our room at Pop Century (50s section). OK, it was the higher up fireworks from Epcot, but it was still fireworks! He just kept saying, "Oh my gosh, there's fireworks!" I videotaped it and I loooooove to watch it!!! At one point, he turned to DH and said, "Hurry up Daddy...you're gonna miss it!"

2. My little one (he was 14 months old at the time) being completely enthralled by Minnie Mouse when we went to the Liberty Tree Tavern for a character dinner on our first night (this was in 2008 when they still had characters). He loved the other characters too (kept squeezing Chip and Dale's noses, hugged them too!), but he couldn't take his eyes off of Minnie Mouse and he gave her the biggest hug of all! We were nervous about the kids being scared of the characters but they really loved them!

Now, both of those were magical!

Yes, it is VERY soon!! Enjoy counting down...this, in some ways, is the best part...knowing it is right there, so close you can feel it! I love it...we have 5 days until we leave the house for our drive (Tampa first for a few days), and only 9 days until we arrive at WDW!
