Yeah!! We're making a quick trip to Disneyland from July 13-17 before a conference that I have to go to in San Francisco. I didn't think that I was going to make it after our trip to the World at Spring Break.

We'll be staying at Hojo's and it's me, my mom, and my dd Ellie (8). My husband and ds (16) are happy to stay home! Thank goodness I've recruited my mom to be a fan too!

Well July folks, my ticker says I have exactly one month to my trip and the the first day of July. This trip is getting closer and soon I will have to remove my ticker (I will be replacing it with a ticker for Dec.) Happy planning everyone!​

We are going to be at the Tropicana, from July 14th and leaving early in the am of the 19th. So excited as this is my kiddos and DH's first trip to Disneyland! It is my 2nd, but it has been 20 + years for me.

As much as I said I would never do DL on 4th of July again, I just booked it. I at least have a room at DLH and should we decide to stay home and go to the beach, I can always cancel.

We are thinking of switching our hotel room to DLH since we recieved a discount code in the mail. Does anyone know if they charge you when you make the reservation or just hold on to your card number?

Your added! The changes that have been made in the last 20 years will amaze you. And there is still the work being done in DCA. You will have a great time and will want to come back sooner than 20 years.

Decisions, decisions, decisions. These types of decisions you have make are the best kind. Once you make your booked, post here and I will be happy to add you to the list.

I try to avoid any holiday weekend. I have tried to book a studio with my DVC points back in March, but there were no studios available weekend after weekend. While talking to Member Services, July 1st to the 3rd became available. I took it without hesitation. I figured this trip was for a romantic weekend for DH and I, so maybe we won't be going into the parks as much as we normally do!?!

Also, someone posted a special perk for DLR guests. Starting this Friday, each DLR hotel guest will receive two fastpasses at check in. Does that help?

I am unsure about this answer. I think they will charge you for the first night. You can always call them and ask what their policy is. Here is DLH operator number: (714) 778-6600; the reservation number: (714) 956-6425.

I totally agree! I am so excited as my kiddos are at a great age for going they will be 12, 10 and 9 when we go. My DH does not like flying. (horrible experience when he was on a plane the only time...planes and lightening do not mix well!) But he is braving it and this happy mama is hoping to make it a yearly tradition.

Like the title says the 1st trip for the whole family. DH has been to WDW many times in his childhood but never WDL/DCA. Last time I was there I was 6 months old in the 80's, DS (6) and DS (2) have never been. It is a surprise trip for them.

We'll be at the Park Vue, July 20-24! During the first part of the week, we're spending a day and a half at Universal and then seeing Les Miserables in Los Angeles. Going w/DH, DS16 and DS12. We're all very excited!!!!
