July 2011 Check in Thread Post your travel dates and hotel here

Anyone know of any ticket or package specials yet for July? I'm still waiting to buy passes!

Haven't bought my tickets yet, but not expecting any specials as this is considered high season :(

We'll be at the Jolly Roger - checking in on the 5th and checking out on the 7th. DL: 6th; DCA: 7th. It's just me and the kids this trip so we'll be doing all counter service meals.

Minnie & Friends Breakfast
July 11 @ 10am

Does anyone think that is too late? Is it enough time to see all the characters?

We did the 10am seating (3 years ago) and saw a bunch of characters: Minnie, Winnie the pooh, eyore, tigger, chip & Dale, Pluto, Captain Hook, Mad hatter, Alice, there were more but my memory is failing me 3 years later.

:) Holy macaroni! That is a lot. Thanks Daisybelle, I hope it turns out to be similar for us! :flower3:

I've got a slight change to our plans, we are adding a day to Disney! We were going to meet up with friends from Glendale and head to Universal but they said they would like to go to DL instead so we get 2 days now! So DH and I will be there July 19th with friends and then July 25th just the two of us. AND I happened to check Candy Cane Inn yesterday and they made the AAA rates available for all our dates (7-19 and 7-24/7-25) so we get to stay at CCI the whole trip which is awsome because it is my favorite off-site hotel. This is shaping up to be an awesome vacation which is nice since it is my 30th birthday trip (though we are going about a month after my actual birthday I'm still celebrating :rolleyes1 ). Hope to see some of you guys there, I'll be heading to Home Depot for my LGMH soon.

I just stumbled across this news. I am sooo hoping this applies to VGC. Anyone think it will?

Disney's FASTPASS Summer Offer

When guests check in at one of the three Hotels of the Disneyland® Resort from June 3 to Sept. 5, 2011, they will receive two Disney’s FASTPASS® tickets for each person in their party per stay.

Combined with valid theme park admission, it’s a great way to experience Disney Soundsational Summer, whether they go under the sea to experience the all-new “The Little Mermaid~Ariel’s Undersea Adventure” at Disney California Adventure™ Park, or find out where the Force will take them – in 3-D for the first time – onboard “Star Tours® – The Adventures Continue” at Disneyland Park.

Offer includes two (2) Disney's FASTPASS® tickets for each registered guest (ages 3 and older) per Disneyland® Resort hotel reservation for arrivals from 6/3/11 through 9/5/11. Separate theme park admission is required. Each of these Disney’s FASTPASS® tickets will allow a guest one (1) entrance to the Disney’s FASTPASS® return line of any Disney’s FASTPASS® attraction at the Disneyland® Resort Theme Parks or one (1) entrance to a specially created, limited-time Disney’s FASTPASS® return line for The Little Mermaid~Ariel’s Undersea Adventure attraction. Tickets may not be sold, copied or transferred for commercial purposes and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Subject to restrictions and change without notice.

After hearing about the Matterhorn closure, I figure we've picked the perfect dates! Everything new opens right before we get there and nothing closes until we leave (July 4th-8th).

I'd say we're pretty lucky considering we picked these dates on a whim last July. :U

It just keeps getting closer...

60 days here! I just booked our Blue Bayou lunch for the 11th! :cool1:

Something the rep told me, which I had never heard, is that the first 12 reserverations that are for the 11:30 time slot automatically get the water-side tables. Score! :cool1:

Wannaseepooh (or anyone else who knows): I thought WOC reservations were to be at 30 days? Do I have that wrong? Or is that just for the picnics maybe...

LOL. I have reservations for that day, also (11:50). I'm going to need you to hurry and finish eating, though, as I'll be waiting for a waterside table.

The wife, kids and I will be making our first family trip since 2009 (the wife and I went alone last year:hug:)

We arrive on the July 9th. Staying at the Tropicana (wife insisted since she fell in love with the location from last year). We'll be checking out on the 14th. Haven't made any more reservations, yet, though!:scared1:

I better get busy!

Oh, that's funny. We'll probably take slightly longer than 20 minutes but I'll tell them Disneyrand gets it next. :rotfl:

Well I just spent a ridiculous amount of time examining menus on the Disneyland site and the All Ears site and I'm not quite sure yet! So many choices and only so many days!

Please add us to the list. I had a recent job change and had to switch my vacation dates from June to July 22-26th. We will be staying at the Park Vue Inn for the first time..but if a summer promo for onsite hotels happens to be announced we will switch to DLH. The new fastpass option is inticing :thumbsup2

Welcome to the July Check in thread. I, too, am excited to be able to get 2 fastpasses. I plan on using mine for the Little Mermaid, if there is a fastpass ride.

Also, may I suggest, to use one of your fastpasses for Star Tours 2. I got to preview it last week and it is awesome! I rode it 4 times and each time was a new experience. Will become one of the favorites.

First time poster here. We will be at Disneyland from 7/26-29, staying at the Desert Palms Hotel and Suites.

Perspective July trip for us!! The 11th through the 15th most likely at the Castle Inn and Suites :cool1: Hopefully plans don't fall through
