Sounds good! haha. If anything else, DH and I will be in epoch before we eat, maybe we'll swing by the english gardens on the way to Italy. Surely some people would still be around. Carrie- good to hear! I'm not overly worried, I'm not Italian, so I'm not worried too much about authenticity... (Although, it's on my bucket list, per se, to try sometime) but I do want a good eating place. There's a place or two in my town that is just bland as can be to me, and I don't get how so many people love it.

Just jumping on here real quick to let ya'll know my hubby made it to his next destination!!! So now we wait until this afternoon to see if he makes it on tonight's flight or not! So either 1 sleep or 2 sleeps left!!!!!!!!!!

PS I got lots of cleaning done last night! Cleaned whole kitchen, mopped it, cleaned our bathroom and swept it ...

Just need to vacuum the whole upstairs, clean the kiddos bathroom, clean the half bathroom, vacuum the living room and change sheets on our bed. Yes in case you were wondering, I do work very well under last minute conditions

We leave Friday for a quick 4th of July trip...my DD is so excited! She keeps asking me how many more sleeps until Disney! I still have to pack, do laundry and a few other last minute things, but, hey, its not like we're going to Timbuktu...I'm sure we'll manage with whatever I can throw in the bag the night before!

Okay, I can now officially go to Disney with no worries. My school called me today to let me know that there is an opening in the Middle School Math Department if I wanted it. Okay, Middle School can be iffy for me at times (I prefer HS), but I know I can handle it. Soooooo... I am now officially not laid off! (not that it looks any different because I am on summer vacation anyway!)....

I am sooooo happy!!


P.S. Can we not have any more scares like this? My heart can't handle it.

Only a few days left until our trip begins. I can't believe it. I had so many plans for today and then I got sick, am ok now, but wasted my afternoon and early evening hours. I need to recheck my packing LOL. I confirmed everything and made sure I reconfirmed everything. I only need to do a couple more things and I then be ready to leave early Friday morning.

I can't be on the board long tonight... what's the update on the July 6th AK meet? I am going to look at the first page, but if anything new is happening I need to know!

The heat is not so bad when the clouds are in full force. Today, it was really nice in the morning until the sun came out. Then it was pretty hot. It rained around one at MK and then it rained from about 4 PM until 7ish.

I don't think the crowd levels at MK have been terrible. We were at Epcot on Saturday until the rain storm and it seemed a little busier than I remembered it being last year. Haven't been to the other two parks yet.

I did the Keys to the Kingdom tour today. It was pretty interesting and we got to ride The Jungle Cruise, POTC, and The Haunted Mansion, we saw the backstage areas for the parades and Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It. I saw some other things too that are too magical to talk about.

The Hilton Bonnet Creek is really nice but I'm ready and excited to move to the Beach Club tomorrow. BTW, I learned today that, if you valet at one deluxe resort, you don't have to pay if you go valet at another deluxe.

Too bad about all the rain. Hopefully it will clear up for you.

Evening EMH is the best! - especially at MK. Some of the rides are walk ons, and the heat is a lot more tolerable. We did not find the other parks to be as beneficial so we usually plan for the MK EMHs and punt on the rest.....

After talking to Sarah for a while yesterday, I've decided I'm not going to fret about my Welcome Packet/DME packet from Disney. They have my money and will not leave me stranded at MCO. I will either have to pick up my bags on my own or go to DME and explain the situation and give a full discription of my checked baggage. Disney will take care of me and my family.

I know this is total geek but I bought the BEST fanny pack yesterday that can hold two water bottles plus hats and sunglasses. So I am psyched to be hands free. Yes it's geeky but at least it's North Face. And everyone will be properly hydrated

I went out and priced some things I need for the trip today. A carrier for my male cat, a disposable litter pan and a pop up carrier for both cat's while we are in the room. I'm going to end up spending more then I wanted on the pop up carrier though unless I can find one for a better price. Have to find a medium sized pop up carrier that can be delivered this weekend lol

They are these fabric crates for pets. They have mesh in the front and back and the door on the front is a zipper closure. They collapse like those pop up laundry hampers do. Something that wont take up much space in the car, easy to carry into the hotel and something the cat's won't hurt themselves in.

I hope your surgery went ok and that your feeling better Carrie...shouldn't you be resting?
