July 2011:Calling all planners-Post your dates & Resort

I love CRT!!!! It makes me feel like a kid again going there. princess:

Haha really? I really hope that DH will like it. It's suppose to be an anniversary dinner ^_^

:cloud9: CRT is a must for us too.
Whooh! I am reading a lot of positive reviews on it, I'm glad I'm going! :goodvibes

I have updated the list on page 126...... Your DH did a great job! I love CRT, this will be our first trip back there since 2005.......I also love tea at the GF.
Thank you for updating :)
I think he did too! I'm so excited! :goodvibes Are you going to CRT for a special occasion or just to go back?
Oh and you've had the tea!? It looks so delicious, I found out about it by reading someones TR :) It reminds me of traditional tea that I had while in London ^_^

This is a....

DOCUMENT DANCE!!
 :cool1: :woohoo: :yay: :dance3:  :cool1: :woohoo: :yay: :dance3:

My last bit of paperwork arrived today, exactly 3 weeks before my trip! I'm all set and ready to go now!! :rotfl:

WHOOH!:banana: I think it really hits you when you get the paperwork ^_^

You are welcome.....We are just going to CRT because we have not been there in a long time, and we lucked out and have free dining, so we are taking advantage of that.

I have done the tea. I ordered the traditional tea sandwiches, and of course tea and dessert........I took DD a few years ago. Totally loved it. A long time ago they used to do High Tea in the UK Pavilion at Epcot.....which was also very nice. I am sure you will enjoy it!

This has nothing to do with July but we're going back in November. DH has another conference so I'm tagging along again. We'll be staying at the Poly for a few days before hand. The awesome news: I just got an ADR for CRT the day after my birthday!!!! We arrive late the night before so I'll be celebrating a day late. Princesses!!!! On my birthday!!!!! :goodvibes Squee!!!!!

Very nice :)

Wendy, I'm soo sorry. Could you please change my Sci-Fi on 7/22 from 4;00 to 2:30 pm?

Thanks! I didn't realize it!

I've completely lost my mind. I still have to keep reminding myself that we have to be at the town pool to register for swim lessons tonight. I have told everyone to remind me and even wrote a note to myself on my hand!
Did you make it? ;)

CRT is a must for us too.
This will be our first year without it, unless something really changes... It's my favorite place to eat at WDW!

I know!!!! I've done lots of :laundy: but I haven't even started packing. I haven't even made my packing list like I usually do.
You'll run on adrenaline and get it done!

DOCUMENT DANCE!!

Mines arrived also.. I'm joining in the dance..:dance3::woohoo::yay::cheer2::cool1::dancer:party:

:woohoo::cheer2::dance3: for you, and my own document dance of a different kind! 1 more assignment for one class to go!!!! (Not thinking about the other classes assignments yet!)

LOL... That's a because you've made so many changes!

So yesterday, the girls and I took a Disney break. We watched you tube clips for a while. Then DH wanted to talk about the trip all night, which was also nice. And we watched Disney Storybook Vacations about DVC that I had DVR'd, and when I looked over, he was teary eyed. Okay, so NOW I am excited!!!! It's so awesome to know he gets it! It was really funny, he has become known as the Disney guy at work. An engineer came over and was talking to him about her trip at the end of the month. She had planned to make no ADRs, possibly even with the Deluxe plan, and just walk up. No homework at all. So he launches into his diatribe about doing your planning, etc. and tells her about my excel spreadsheet. She got all excited, and he came home and emailed it to her, put our ADR's into his phone, etc.

As I mentioned, I turned in 2 more assignments (papers) this morning. One more for that class and I will be done! I have 2 more for the other class, but I am thinking about taking the day off to clean, plan, do some money stuff I need to take care of, etc.

Yep! But, first class is tomorrow. I'm not pulling her out of school, so she'll miss it. That's ok, though because the make up is Friday. OH wait, that's the last day of school and the year-end Brownie trip. We're going to that because we already paid for it. So the next class is Monday. But that is DD's birthday and we'll be in NYC, because that is where she wanted to go for her bd. Perhaps we'll make it NEXT Wed. if they haven't kicked her out by then. It's free, so I wouldn't doubt it :rotfl:

We definitely were not going. We were not doing deluxe. Well, ok now we are going. And doing deluxe. I'm terrible about making up my mind.
LOL... That's a because you've made so many changes!

I know, my head is a terrible place to live. Very indecisive. I am done with that now. I will not make any more changes. Matter of fact I'm not even going to look at anything anymore. I put it all away.

I don't get it at all, but when my brother goes without us, he never makes an ADR. He doesn't care if they get a TS meal or not. He loves when he goes with us, because I do all the ADR's and stuff. He doesn't love doing the legwork for it, though. He's in the 'i don't know what i want to eat 6 months from now' group :) Somehow, though, he does always manage to get a walk in or two at a character meal every trip he does without us, so who knows?

I called Disney regarding the rest of our Mickey mail. Apparently it's been sent. But Canada Post is on strike. Apparently Canada Post told the, that they would deliver what they already have. Which is a lie, in my opinion since we haven't had mail in a while. And well if I still haven't received the mail before we get to AKL, I have to call back and they will sent another package at AKL for them to give it to us. Why can't they use UPS like DME? Another thing for me to get in order before we arrive. GRRR

I'm sorry to hear this. I can't imagine the stress and frustration this would cause for you. :headache:

Good job Taryn - hang in there and you will be done before you know it. You are a Disney expert now so I am sure the planning will not take you long at all. What a great reward going to Disney will be for all your hard work!!!

We usually do not do a lot of ADRs, and we have had luck getting TS meals even during peak times. I think if you even book at Guest Services when you enter the park, there are still usually tables available if you are not picky. We have also had good luck at off times in the resorts......that being said, if you have your heart set on a place or are trying for the popular ones I think it is risky. Personally, I love the planning almost more than actually going!

I am so sorry to hear this, I can imagine how frustrated you must be. At least you know your packet will be there for you when you get there...but still.

and OMG its TEN DAYS!!!!! ( 9 if you don't count today LOLOL :thumbsup2:rolleyes1

Today is the kids last full day of school. I got a phone call from my teen's guidance counselor and surprise! he failed his social studies regents and has to go to summer school :scared1: He was not coming with us on this trip anyway ( because he has been acting worse than a pirate: and not wanting to be part of our :grouphug:family for months and months. He knows everything. On a lighter note, I asked him if his bike was working and he asked me why?? I said because you need transportation mister! He thought I was going to truck him back and forth :rotfl2:

but hey, more importantly? TEN DAYS.:cloud9:

:sad1::sad1::sad1: Just looked at 15 day forecast on accuweather for WDW. RAIN EVERY DAY. Not isolated, scattered, thunderstorms, just flat out rain......

http://www.accuweather.com/us/fl/orlando/32801/forecast-details.asp?fday=15

I know it's still a week and a half away... but..... Where's the temper tantrum smilie?

Yuck!! That is what it was like last July 4th! We stayed at the CR - Bay Lake View - and sometimes it was raining on one side of the CR and not the other (we were in Club level - so we would watch this via the lounge and our room). It POURED at times. BUT, it was never a 100% all day rain out, so do not worry. And like others have said weathermen are notoriously wrong.......

Hooray for 10 days!! Sorry to hear about your son, glad it is not impacting your trip though.

I'm at that point too, I think. It's all about the planning.

Never, ever count today. You already got out of bed. It's done!:rotfl::rotfl2:
I know that whole teen son thing. I am so glad that is over. He's more likely now, at 22, to come to family functions and participate without complaining than he ever was at 17 or 18.
