If you want to update the master list, we updated our ADRs today. We juggled a couple around and moved all of them later to accomodate a split day.

Here's the updated list:

July 23 - Boma - 7:10pm

The job is teaching English in Japan We would be there for 1.5 years ^_^ We did take a study abroad to Japan last summer and we fell in love. I've also taken a year of college Japanese (along with numerous history/culture classes). So this is my last huge dream before DH goes to med school

Well guys... I have something to celebrate on this trip.

I got hired in a private school. I'll be teaching religion to seniors.

Tell me about it.... I just got laid off yesterday.....

I'm sorry. I'm safe for this coming school year but after that....

Sorry to hear that wintershawl - same thing over here - out of a staff of 80 ish we have 9 surplus teachers for the new term, some of them are being transferred to other schools in our area but one or two have no job to go to!

Congrats!!! This is my third year looking for a teaching job again ... I taught 5 years 2001-2006 then we moved overseas and I stayed at home with my daughter and had my son ... came back to the states in 2009 and still have not been able to find a job Very frustrating!

I'm a housewife. Going to go back to school after we leave this post though to become a medical coder/biller..all of my paychecks (well after the bills are gone for good) will be going to DISNEY trips!

Congratulations!!!! Teaching jobs are very hard to come by right now down in Texas. Several years ago, we were begging for teachers and now...not.

I'm so sorry!

Thanks everyone. I should be okay. It was just a huge shock. They never said anything about layoffs. Not a word at all!!! In the math department of 16 teachers, they eliminated 7 positions. I was the last person they decided to lay off. Yay me! lol. There is a math specialist position open that I will be applying for on Monday. Why I don't just get put into the position is beyond me. Things are weird in the cyber school world. Chances are I will have a job in the fall regardless because they always underestimate the number of teachers needed, and I will be the first one called back. It was just a bit of a surprise and quite a blow to know I am expendable. Plus, the reason I was laid off as opposed to someone else is a bit shaky. Oh well, I would have had the summer off anyway, so it won't be too obvious that I don't have a job. I'll find something sooner or later!


On a lighter note.... Carrie, not too many people are crazy enough to go to Disney in July except teachers who have that as their vacation time! Sorry, just had to tease you.


Two weeks from today we leave for a night in Philly before we fly out.. then... DISNEY HERE WE COME!!!!

We will be going from July 16th-23rd and staying off-site. My daughter has been asking me for weeks to post something on the board so here is our first ever post. This will be her first year riding the big roller coasters and wanted me to tell everyone that she is very excited .

Lots of new July Diser's to today. Think when July is over I will miss this thread, seems I check it everyday.

Mickey Mail arrived today but I still have been able to get the Magical Express straightened out so will work on that Monday.

Just received beautiful Disney Princess Costumes for the granddaughters to wear when they go to the BBB. To much confusion with 4 girls when we let them pick there so we just take it with us. Then it is to late to hange their minds. Might have to let 6 year old granddaughter pick a different princess, a sleeveless one, as her cast won't be off in time.

Hey, after a long day in the parks the hot tub is my favorite place to relax

I went to quote one person and it kept my quotes from a previous reply...very weird.

Using the old excell grid my TA sent me after she got my ADR's done, I put in the one's I had made (lunch the day we arrive) and the ones I had changed (lunch in AK on our Anniversary instead of on the 19th after Tusker House) along with the new information about evening shows (Fantasmic every night and when the MSEP is). I also added which parks have EMH and when, then printed out 2 copies. These will override the index card's I made (and laminated) before I realized that I might want to do lunch @ Sci-Fi the same day we do DHS in the evening. Then I re-thought and decided that we would just do a CS lunch that day.

So Carrie, I hate to be a pain in the rear but could you change our Yack and Yeti from the 19th to the 15th and the time is now 12:30pm.
