We have also started making ADR's for our November trip. Can't wait for either trip!

Try Etsy for some matching t-shirts. We got some really cute ones. You can also design your own Disney t-shirts through Zazzle. Lastly, you can design some too through the Disney store but I think there are way more options at Zazzle.

We hit 47 days today. To quote ALF, "I'm so excited, I could squirt!" This is crazy. I've been umpteen times, and I don't remember being this excited. Maybe it's because that since my last trip (excluding last year's in and out trip), I've discovered boards and sites such as this, or it might be because it'll be DD4's first "full" trip to WDW, but I find myself listening to DISRadio, a plethora of podcasts, and just surfing the net and the youtubes prepping, planning, and enjoying all things WDW. I find myself running thought touring scenarios in my head throughout the day, talking about it incessantly with the fam and coworkers. I hope my WDW love doesn't burn out before the trip.

The 45 day mark is really exciting! That is really nice that you want to take your mom. Good luck to your husband on Warrant Officer - my dad was a CW4 and my brother a W-3. I absolutely love WL but I also love being closer to Epcot so I think any of your choices are good ones.

Hope tomorrow is a better day for your daughter!

Tink~ I the WL too! Something about it screams HOME to me! Then again the thought of being at either the Yacht or Beach Club and close to Epcot get's me excited too. Meghan feels loads better today and can FINALLY blow her nose!

Happy Memorial Day everyone and to all the families with loved ones in the Military. We had a great time in Maine. But I forgot how buggy it is in May. I think that is why we never go up in the spring.

Anyone have any good places to suggest getting mister fans from?

We love the one we got at Disney. We purchased ours in 2006 and it is still working. Plus if you buy one during your trip and the batteries die I read (on the disboards) that they will replace them for free. Not sure if that part is true though.

We will be staying June 30-July 8th at BLT. Can't wait!

Ok, just paid off my balance!!

We will be at Disney July 9-16 and are staying at Bonnet Creek.
It will be me, DH, our 3 kids, my older sister, and my 11 year old niece (my younger sister's DD). This will be my niece's first trip. She's had a rough year so we asked my sister if we could take her and she said yes!!

We are only doing one ADR and that is at Chef Mickey's on July 11th @ 10:50am

I have no ADRs. Am I the only one? We don't eat on schedule when we travel and I just can't imagine planning our trip around restaurants. I am in the process of looking for or making matching shirts for our trip. I don't want to spend a lot but so far I am having a little trouble. I went the the Disney Store at the mall hoping to find something and they don't have any sales right now. Ugh. I am also looking for swimsuits for the kids. Lots to do and time is going by quickly!

Have you thought about making your own with Iron on Transfer paper. The DISign thread has some very creative people and all you need to do is print it out on Iron on Transfer paper to a plain Tshirts.

I am from the littest state in the Union aka Rhode Island

I just realized, today is my 45 day mark! There was an email from my TA in my inbox asking if we had any changes we wanted to make...the only one I can think of is an ADR but the kid's insist they want to keep Chef Mickey's for breakfast so here's hoping that it goes well and we like it.

I've been thinking about the trip I might be taking next fall and thinking about another family trip but including my Mom on it. I figure she took us on enough trips when we were growing up it's time for DH and I to return the favor. Also DH is going to be putting in paperwork to become a Warrant Officer when he get's back so we are going to get a HUGE pay increase which will help pay for that and pay off bills (*sigh* DVC you are so coming into my grasp!). The only thing to decide on is the time of year and where to stay. I'm tossing up between CL WL or VWL or maybe YCV (closer to Epcot) Disney planning makes me so happy!

That is sweet that you want to take your Mom. My mother has come with us a few times and she loves seeing the kids get all excited about Disney. Of course the kids love her to come too because she won't say NO to them and buys them too much stuff. Just this trip in Maine she took the kids shopping and they could pick out a toy. DS5 picks out PotC Legos game for his Xbox. Instead of saying that is too much she buys it for him

Too much going on today and not enough time for me to reply to everyone!! But, I know I can get key chains, possibly fridge magnets. I may even be able to get ones that say Long Island, since today it's unofficially summer...tourist season and all that fun stuff. Not that I live in a very touristy part. But we still get the same kind of stuff in our stores

I'm looking at our itineraries and scheduling a little more closely - i have changed A LOT of ADR's -- I'll be re-posting those soon!! but i don't want to post anymore changes until i have them all SOLID and no chance of changing!

I read everyone else's PTR's and Happy Dances --- it doesn't feel "real" that I/my family are in the same exact position as they are!!

I've lived through everyone else's excitements for so long -- can't believe our turn is finally here. -- I read the PTR's, etc and find myself more excited for everyone else than I am for us --- I think it's because it hasn't hit me yet.... I've paid the balance in full -- you'd think THAT would hit me --- but it hasn't!!

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the excitement -- and included in the list on this forum's first post --- (7/12-7/27).

I am totally hooked on the DISign pages... if you haven't found those -- It's my new addiction!!!!

My mom keeps my oldest daughter for about a month during the summer and takes her school clothes shopping. When it comes to her, the sky is the limit in a manner of speaking Eventually I'd like to do just a Mother-Daughter trip for her and eye every other year or so (and have a DVC slot to go every year with my own family *sigh* I dream big I think) but it will have to wait until I have a job too.

We are down to 40 days and I am getting very excited. I almost feel like throwing out my plans and just winging it this year. I think if I did that my family may take me to the hospital because they would think I was ill.

So I ended up taking DD to the clinic today and it turns out she has a sinus infection and strep throat She so wants to go outside and enjoy the nice weather we are having but I dont want her getting anyone else sick.

I have a few more GC's to buy but I'm going to go to Sam's club to get them (100 dollar gift card for about 98 dollars with a $10.00 disney store GC) and I've got a 50% off coupon for some fabric I need to buy

Sorry to hear your DD is not feeling well. It's tough when the kids are sick when the weather is nice.

To me the fun of the pre-excitement is half the fun! It makes the much anticipated moment even better!

I too love to live through others who are going and get excited with them. Yesterday a family from our church announced they will be going. The husband's uncle is paying for it all. They would not otherwise be likely to go. So, it is their first time. I was beside myself excited for them! Wheee!!

We are down to 40 days and I am getting very excited. I almost feel like throwing out my plans and just winging it this year. I think if I did that my family may take me to the hospital because they would think I was ill.

I plan the park days because of ADRS, although I have some days that are up in the air days. I like it much better to not have a huge plan or itinerary. Last time we went to Disney was actually one of my most relaxing vacations, and I am hoping to say that again after this year.

Aww! The day before we get there!

DH and I are staying in AKL July 21-25. Will be our 2nd trip to Disney, (not counting his when he was little, and my high school band trip.) & second time at AKL. Doing the DDP this time, should be interesting.

Tinkerszs -- we don't have any ADRs, aside from a character breakfast at the Poly. I keep seeing people on here talking about all their ADRs... I admit, it's kinda sending me into a panic here. But we didn't have any last year.... And we (I don't think) aren't going to eat at any of the signature places, we''re debating Italian places -- so we may end up making one.
