oh and for the last poster...

LGMH....either go to your local homedepot or you can find some plain one's from the DISigns threads...write your Diser name on it. Laminate it or cover in clear contact paper...cut out, punch a hole add a cool ribbon and attach to your park bag...hopefully someone will say hi to you then at the parks

Here are my assortment of LGMHs I used in the past.

These are the ones I plan to give out to my DISers. I used the "googly" eyes and a "puff" for the nose.

And here are the ones that will go on my Stroller and Baggalini

I like the door sign too so that allows me to ask a question you have or are going to and have you have ever seen other Disers...decoate the doors in the deluxe resorts then (mainly I mean the interior hallway ones)?


is this OK? as in allowed? I've heard some Disers say you can't use tape...

I'd like to put up a sign on our BLT door and then B-day notices for the girls too plus a Happy Thanksgiving note....was thinking of using blue painters tape...

We asked for a room on the 1st floor, odd number, near the pool. So hopefully that helps you find us. Please leave a message.

Yes, I've put up this sign or similar for every trip in the last few years -- AKV, BCV and BLT. I just use regular Scotch tape and it has stayed up (I hide the tape behind the sign) and doesn't leave marks. No one has asked me to take it down, and in fact I got messages and even pins from management and the maids in the past.

Got my new smartphone yesterday and activated it today!! We got the Droid HTC phone. I'm so excited as now I have internet access. I will download Touring Plans Lines app so I can check wait times and FP times while in the park, locate characters, etc. I'm not sure exactly what all it does, but people on DIS and allears seem to . Oh, it's also supposed to report when rides are down, etc. This could sure save us from running all over the park to check on rides.

OK, my goal today is to pack. I think I've entered the pretrip funk -- I get so excited for my trip for months ahead of time, that when it starts getting really close, like single digits, I find myself getting lethargic about all that needs to be done.

So I thought I might need some inspiration to get packing today:

I know, I know ... I have most of our clothes and started our toiletries last night. I planned what color and which clothes we'll wear each day (am and pm). So I have done a lot...just need to keep at it.

But I rather play with my phone!

I self-admit that this trip is NOT the no-stress trip. With hot weather and large crowds, I know I'll stress. But we are NOT going commando and I will try to relax.

Thanks guys! I was so proud of myself last night. I was able to transfer my contacts and calendar from my old Palm handheld to the DROID...and no, it wasn't just pressing a few buttons, so I felt like I actually "exercised my brain" to figure it out. I was going to ask DH to help me, but said, no, I can do this myself.

Funny, but it felt like a huge accomplishment to me.

YAY! I too just finally upgraded my phone after 6 yrs...to a blackberry can't wait to get it! and use it for Disney plus DH has a droid through work...I think the app's are going to come in very handy during very busy Thanksgiving week

I have Lines on my iTouch, and I want to be able to access it in the parks!!! UGH. SO after investigating (a new phone is out of question right now bc I have a year until I get a discount) I think I can do Mobile Web for five dollars a month. I should be able to access lines via the website (which reportedly works better on verizon than the app does). I have to go to the verizon store to talk to someone and ensure no hidden fees.

I think dh thinks I am nuts. The problem is I am itching for an iPhone. Hopefully, verizon will have them available in Jan. like predicted.
