Is it possible that i can see it somewhere in my reservation online?

When you do your online checkin they ask you to select a boarding time. Ours isn't till 12:30, because there's no way we are going to arrive there before noon--its a 2 hr drive and I know my family--no matter how hard I try to get them out the door at 9, it's going to be 10 before we are on the road. Someone always forgets something!

Finally some good news! I saw the retinal specialist today and the blood in my retina has reabsorbed and there is no tear! I still have the big grey floater, but I really don't care! Hurray!

We're going to take a cab from airport,thanks for the tips. When does rush hour end? Do taxis take credit cards or just cash? Here they take credit cards, but when I was in London, they only took cash (surprise), so I'd like to have an idea on how much cash I may need to exchange.

Now I'm so excited about this trip Of course I find out the DAY before I leave if my mom's ovarian cancer has come back, but she's doing well now and feeling fine, so I'm still going no matter what!

We're in New York 10 days before this cruise. Anyone doing a pre cruise New York trip? We hope to see 5 shows: Mary Poppins, Spiderman, Warhorse, Newsies, and Peter Pan and the Star Catchers. Now I need to do some research and more planning because we haven't done much other than book the hotel, cruise and excursions.

We're doing atlantis waterpark and 7:15am HS and end at Magic Kingdom. Nothing planned for Castaway Cay, just snorkling and beach. My son's 11 birthday on that day so he rules the day!

Looking forward to meeting you all. I can't manage the FE since we're flying so far and we're keeping our luggage to a minimum, but is there a meet? I was really out of it, but now I'm excited and want to plan,dream and plan!

So happy that things are better for you. Prayers for your Mother also.
We are doing the Atlantis also and just hanging at the beach for Castaway Cay. We do have use of the bikes and snorkling equipment, but plan to just to the beach mostly.
How cool your son will have his bday there. We celebrated our son's bday this past April at HS. He got to choose where we ate and what we did. He loved it.

Taxi's are ubiquitous in NYC, esp at the airports (they love the airport, because they know its usually going to be a healthy fare into midtown). Plenty of minivan and SUV taxicabs as well. Also contact your hotel--some run airport shuttles, which, if you are arriving at 5:30 might be a more attractive choice (rush hour traffic equals hefty cab fare). Not sure what the current rules are on airport-to-midtown fares are currently, metered or flat rate.

It is flat rate and should be posted on the door. I will look tomorrow when I am taking DD to dance we pass LGA and seven zillion cabs.

Rush hour in NY uhm that is a tough one. Also because there is construction by the airport, in the airport and on the RFK bridge not to mention which route you take in manhattan.

I am going to be contacting all the FE families tonight or tomorrow. We are 6 families.

Also I believe everyone who has requested to join the FB group has been approved.

Hi everyone I realize this is extremely late to post in this thread, but I just discovered DIS and I was really excited when I discovered there was a post about the cruise I'll be going on.

I'm only 17, but I thought I would join in on the excitement anyway. This is the last cruise I'll be on where I can go to the teen club, and I'm hoping to make a friend this time. I see there are some other people my age, so it should be fun!

My son will be almost 17 on this cruise. He loves the teen club and has made lots of lasting friends on other cruises.

My son is 17 and this is our first cruise. He isn't too sure about the teen club, but is willing to check it out. He loves music, video games and hanging out, but also loves sports (basketball, tennis, soccer, etc.).

I received my cruise documents today. I have a question. Since I won this cruise, Disney is making all of my reservations. Everything looks great but one piece of info I am missing is our boarding time. I have seen others talking about it and I was wondering if anyone else has received their boarding docs and where is it listed. I have read the entire booklet, but don't see it listed.

I called Disney Cruises and they tell me parking is appx $30/night and it's first come first serve. I assume there will be other parking garages to pay around that pier, but I can imagine they cost some money. I live 15 mins from NYC so we are getting a car service.
