Still no word from Sylvie..................

She was so prompt in the past. Maybe she is waiting for the exact 2 month mark to confirm....May 5 or 6th seems so far waiting for this confirmation.

However I know that it will come very FAST because I know I must be ready for DD 12th birthday on the 6th.

Jim, You are right 6flags is no DL but they have LOTS of awesome rollercoasters. It is doubtful that we will go to Frog Jump because my parents are visiting for the weekend. Small dusty county fairs with frogs is NOT their glass of wine.

Doris wrote to me requesting info about family so she could send confirmation. She asked if Fran H was one and if there was another. I told her it was Jim also. I am thinking she is going to find it strange I don't know Jim's last name. Oh well, it seems as if we are going to be together on the 10 am. Fran, she has you down for July 5, 10am, fam of 4.

Thanks to Wendy (AOIP57) - she has been calling DCL daily - we were able to book Las Caletas for all 12 of us. Our two families and her parents.

Did anyone read the thread on the DCL Forum - hungry for dining rotation on the West Coast cruises? Formal is Sunday, Tuesday is Pirate theme and the day we are in Cabo is semi-formal.

Just curious we are going to take care of our DL tickets next week.

Amy - I just saw your post on the DCL forum thread regarding booking/reserving the kids in the clubs, Palos, excursions.

Glad I had a minute to log in - going to try registering my daughter now. Wish me luck, I have read some are having problems.

Wow - it took me a while to finally get to the registration part. Computer slow to load? Did not remember password at first. Two reservations (two cabins) to check, etc. - anyway - did not register my dd. She is 12, close to 13 and Wendy dd is 13- I think the club is up to age 12 so as of now will not register.

Glad to see you can do everything and they have updated their site.

While I was looking back at the beginning of this thread I noticed some of our cruisers are missing in action - where are you guys - I think legalbriefs, Azptcruiser, there was another one can't remember screen name - I wonder if Barbara will be joining us again after her memorial day cruise too.

I had a "problem" trying to schedule my spa visits. At first, it wouldnt give me any options to choose from but then I went over to our other cabin and got everything done over there and then resigned in on the 1st cabin and everything went in and was booked. I'm so excited. I keep looking over there to see if there is something else I should book. I might go snag another Flounders Reef time for the babies or maybe another shore excursion...I can see this is going to be a problem. Amy

Ok, I fixed my mistake in scheduling Flounder's. I thought that they counted 2 hours from your start time but now realize that I had only scheduled 1/2 hour for brunch and Palo dinner. That would have been a nightmare..."Could you please bring us all our courses at once, we have 25 minutes to get back to Flounders!" They also changed the amount of time they can be in Flounders. I was able to sign my little Princesses up for 10 hours!! I can almost feel the tension leaving my back now...10 hours in ONE WEEK free of someone wanting me, juice, a bottle,snack etc..Now if I can just get them to stay for that amount of time. I'm a SAHM so they have never been watched by a babysitter, just Grandma or my neighbor. Hopefully they will be fine because they are together.
I also added a Palo Tea and a massage for Grandma. I NEED TO STOP NOW!!! Amy

A big thank-you for the heads up with the on-line reservations, we wanted brunch at Palo's and after a small mix-up was able to get that done. (If you booked through DVC it might come across that you have not paid, don't panick like I did, just call and the cruise line will straighten it all out) So, anyway THANK'S Amy... You have made my day.
P.S. I am probably one that is MIA, I booked all excursions through Disney, so I have not had much to say lately.....Have a great day everyone

I am now confirmed for Los Veranos. Took a couple of messages back and forth to get it finalized. I had to make sure I was getting the child rate. They never asked for a credit card number either.

I made Palo reservations for brunch and dinner. I listened to your advice. I did not think I had to worry about it until I was on the ship and had rotations assigned. It was hard to guess what times/days would be best.

We didn't want to miss AP or Pirate night so, not knowing which rotation we'd get, I just scheduled our dinner at Palo for July 6. Hopefully that avoids both of those dinners. I am really getting excited now! Amy

alright please explain to me step by step how you got a resv for palo already? did you find out your rotation yet? and who did you call dcl or do it on line now i am starting to panic because we wnt sun brunch also and a dinner too! iv'e got to start really concentrating on this cruise. it used to be that you could only make palo resv on the ship? lookng forward to sailing soon lisa!

The website has been up and down all day.
go to disney cruise lines webpage.
click on reservations
down on left side in small print there is a link for folks who already have reservations, click that
then you will have to register, if you have not already done so, then you will enter your email address, your password, reservation (confirmation) number and the birthdate of the person in that room. (We have two one room mine birthday, the other my husband's)

O(nce there you will get info about ressie, then on left side is a choice like (i'm not logged in there right now) My cruise plan, click that
then a box with tabs will appear, click Palos,
then click reserve now

This is all from memory so I am sure wording is wrong. An hour ago it was NOT working. One time it would not let me make reservations, I went to the other room and that room worked, but when I returned to the original room it worked. it is hit or miss and SLOW with my dialup.

Good luck. I choose Monday brunch but when you mentioned Sunday brunch that sounded so much better.....I am guessing I have a character breakfast on Sunday, don't have any reason to think that and then signed up for 11:30 just in case it is Monday.

Anybody know the rules for Palos, a ressie per stateroom? Or since mine are linked only one??

PS I normally use FOXFIRE for my web browser and it does not work. I have to use Internet Explorer. Not sure why and not willing to troubleshoot it.

Anna, Order DL tickets from the Disney website. Took only four days to recieve tickets. Boy, I better make reservation for Palo now. I hope it will work for me. Jim

Thanks about the information as to making reserations for Palo on line. Was able to make all res wanted. Another item check of my list.

Darcy, we also were not quoted child rate and no credit card taken.. I emailed them about the child rate...awaiting response.

All right Fran, My DH talked me into going to DL tonight against my better judement. With the 50th kick off yesterday I think it's going to be PACKED The kids are dying to go so I'll suck it up and go for it. Hi Amy,
We went to DL last night for dinner at Blue Bayou (our 21st anniversary), parade and fireworks. Although it was packed, the crowds were very happy and excited just to be part of the kickoff. It was so much fun and the new firework show is absolutely fabulous and very entertaining. Liked the new parade too.
