Ohhhh I WISH I was going back to Hawaii but not yet! Was there in 2003 without my family so I can't wait to take them! We're thinking maybe for our 20th anniversary in 08?!? :thumbsup2
I just get to plan the darn trips for people!
You'd think after 22 years of doing this, I'd learn by now that I only get to plan the thing! Don't actually get to go WITH them!! :rotfl:

I offered to pack my TA in my suitcase if she paid the overweight charge! :lmao: Surprisingly, she declined. :confused3 They get to take quite a few trips, but you would have to become fairly detached. She said it's harder when it's someone she knows well, and she gets to see them get all excited about the trip. Would she be referring to me?? Even I had to learn to do that with our computer business. There are only so many years you can work days, nights and weekends! I really like most of the customers, but you do have to draw a line. Some I will still accomodate as fast as I can. :teeth:

Why will this work day not end?? 40 more minutes and I'm about to crawl out of my skin! Tomorrow will go fast since I'm only here just over 4 1/2 hours, and Monday will fly by at 3! :woohoo:

DS was told he'll need braces. I keep saying is there anything we can do now to help them. We have to wait for the babies to fall out first. ACK.

Lisa, I LOVE Hawaii. We're torn betwen HI and WDW every year. They're so different, but soooo great. Where are they staying?

I definitely will be laughing out loud with Janet's book. I remember riding the NYC subway and a loud guffaw would just pop out.

A lot of time there isn't anything they can do. Rich and I both had small mouths (go figure) and the girls had the same problem. Too little room for all those big teeth. Sara had one baby tooth that was finally pulled before braces. There was no premanent tooth behind it! She only has 2 wisdom teeth, like I did. They haven't seen any on Jess yet.

I love Janet's books. I was reading her latest in the series she writes with Charlotte Hughes when I did billing at the beginning of the month. My boss kept bellowing (he has to yell rather than pick up the phone) and asking me if I was alright! I was laughing and he thought I was having problems. :lmao: I can't wait to start this one. I read about a paragraph on her page months ago. Rich reads them too. He said I could give it to him for safe keeping. I don't think so! He can read it on the way home. Her newest in the NASCAR series comes out in the fall, I think. October 3rd to be exact. I like that series too.

How did we fall to the second page?

Did some door signs. Not great or as creative as VerandaMan by any stretch, but for family that expects plain doors, it'll be fine. I'm stick cutting up MM paint chips and have to attach ribbon. Bought some patriotic banner and have to go buy pirate banners.

We just received our Disney Visa rewards card. They say not to unload all of it to DCL because you lose it if you don't use it. I don't think we'll have a problem using 152 points.

I love the Plum Series. I confess I have not read the others. I am curious about the "NASCAR" series. Which books are those? I am trying not to read the book before the cruise, but it is so hard. So far I have only read two chapters. I am trying to ignore it, but it keeps calling my name. So I baked cookies instead.

:tigger: Lisa

Her NASCAR book is called Metro Girl. The second one is going to be called Motor Mouth, I think. They are funny too! :lmao: My husband offered to read 12 for me again last night. I told him he could read it, but he just couldn't tell me what happens. :rotfl: I wouldn't be able to stop at 2 chapters. Your self control is unbelievable! Cookies is the last thing I need right now, but they sure do sound good!!! :thumbsup2

We finally got our docs last night. Sara said I missed the TA by about 2 minutes. I was picking Jess up at Sylvan. There isn't much to it, is there? Ours had our transportation tickets, the little check list thing, and customs forms. Now I have to think about packing this weekend!!

I decided to just use magnets! I'm too lazy to make signs. Besides, I have no idea when I would do them now. Everyday seems to be full. :sad2: I had to find time to get groceries yesterday. My kids are eating me out of house and home! How do you all feed teenage boys? I can't keep the girls fed!! :confused3

One more day and then I am on my way to the Magic land. I am so excited. I keep thinking of other items I need to pack. So I better get on the plane before I decide to unpack and pack again.
I checked the weather report for this coming week in Orlando. Rain-Rain-Rain I am so sad. But, I have rain jackets for everyone. So I guess if it rains we will still go to the parks but in the rain.
My husband told me yesterday that I was not going to be able to bring any work on this vacation. I needed to relax. That is not going to work. I must have my work so I will relax. Otherwise I will be thinking about it the entire vacation.

I'm sorry to hear about the rain! :umbrella: Hopefully things will clear up soon!

Good luck with the work thing! I'm so glad you are getting to leave tomorrow! Think of us packing this weekend!! :lmao: Have a great trip, and we will see you on the 1st!

I can NOT concentrate!!!! Jimmy Buffet is playing on the radio now!!!! He's just calling me I know!! :sunny:

I tried to tell Alexa that I thought Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom will be on our cruise!! :rotfl: She did not believe me and I don't know why!!!! :confused3 Wishful thinking on my part I know!

I'm getting NOTHING done today! and I'll be packing like Patti this weekend!!

I'm in overload now. Last minute little things. Bought dh and df rashguards from Ron Jon because dh doesn't believe in reapplying sunscreen and df is on anti-rejection meds because of a kidney transplant and is very sensitive to sunlight because of it. If he passes you on the ship, you'll know it. He has this 50spf sunscreen that smells like candy (no lie). Anyhooo these rashguards might fit my ds5. No way will this 2XL (yep) fit any men in my family.

Lucky duck, getting to WDW early. Even a rainy day in WDW is better than being at home. Unless there's lightening we get ponchos and walk in the rain. Everybody else cowers under awning and in the store. Rain is the best time to be on most rides. Except test track and dumbo.

Does anybody else feel like they're packing for a third world country?

Shoot! Went online to get my Southwest boarding passes, got our 7 year old's in group A, but within the next 5 minutes of being available, the other 3 of us got B!

On the transportation board, they said this can happen with connecting flight, but hard to believe a 9:35 am flight originated elsewhere (but not impossible!)

Called Southwest, and they said that we might be able to board with her in A. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Hope the rumors of Southwest going to reserved seats in the future are true. That is a the sole annoying feature of this airline, having to get there early to wait in line.

Last few times I checked SW they were more expensive than others so we've been going Delta. I'm with you, the "non-reserved" seat issue is annoying.

For all you you traveling this coming week. I wish you safe and speedy trips.

The packing thing is making me a little crazy. I keep putting "stuff" by the suitcases, but very little has actually made it inside yet. I will work on it Sunday or Monday. Tomorrow I have to go to a funeral. :sad1:

LOL on this: Melissa is actually hoping that happens! She just died when I told her about the ship at Castaway Cay: she thought they should be there greeting us when we arrive! :cool1: Can you imagine? I think all these teenage girls (and maybe a few moms too?) would probably hyperventilate!

Big packing weekend here too! :thumbsup2 I planned on ironing tonight, but it was just too late when I got home, and that is NOT something I feel like starting at 9:30 at night! Tomorrow morning after I take Melissa to work, I am running some (hopefully!) final errands and then will start the ironing. DH and I decided at the last minute here to get a new video camera, so that's the plan for the afternoon. Then tomorrow night, it begins. The piles will start making their way into their home for the next couple of weeks. Sunday I will work with DH and Melissa on their packing, and get all the other "stuff" organized as well. We only have Monday and Tuesday nights after this weekend: our flight is 9:20 on Wednesday morning. And I have tons of things to do for the store on Mon/Tuesday, so this weekend is IT for me!!

So, here is the million dollar question for all of you at WDW prior to the cruise: what time are YOU planning on leaving Saturday morning? :moped: I have been trying to get some idea from the boards, but not alot of definite answers. "Leave early", or "allow plenty of time". Yea. I think I knew that part. What's early????? :confused3

Safe trip to everyone leaving tomorrow!! We'll be lookin' for ya next Saturday!! :boat:

Lisa in FL- sorry you have a funeral tomorrow. Hope everything is okay!

Nancy- Tell Melissa she'll have to wait in line after ME for the greeting we'll get from Johnny and Orlando! :rotfl2:
I need to call FL TOURS in the am and see about the transfer/shuttle problem! Right now, we are being picked up from All Star Music at 10am. I HOPE it's not any earlier! Where are you staying?
Poor Alexa has to work Sat. and Sun. and we get to go sell candy bars for dance team from tomorrow morning! Guess she'll be packing on Monday when she get's off work at 3:30pm!
I have way too many things on my list!!

We are going to WDW thursday and friday also. We are staying at the animal kingdom hotel i believe (dont remember what its called). On thursday we are going to animal kingdom (*seigh* i like MGM alot more but its okay :)) and then friday we are going to epcot. Bus is then picking up up saturday morning.

Thanks Lisa in KS. The husband of a good friend of mine passed away on Father's Day.

For all of you who are going to the parks this week, it has been HOT, HOT, HOT :sunny: here in Florida! Wear shorts, cotton shirts, a hat, sun glasses and don't forget your sunscreen. The heat and humidity can be unbearable, if one is not used to it. If they are predicting rain for the week, it is not necessarily a bad thing. I hope you all have a FABULOUS time at the parks, and we look forward to meeting all of you next week! ONLY one more week! pirate:

Lisa :tigger:

We are also taking Disney Tranp. from the SWAN to the ship. They told us they would pick us up at 12:00. So in the morning we are going swimming and doing laundry and then get ready for the ship. I can hardly wait. I have matching T-shirts for everyone.
I know I am excited about this trip. I have been up since 3:00 a.m. We are leaving this morning.
So, I guess I will see everyone on the ship. I have all of my signs made and ready to go for my doors. We have two stateroom so I had to decorate two rooms. So I got double the pleasure.
See you on the ship.

We went on the Wonder last July and got there about 11am and waited on a line that actually wasn't too bad. We were about 20 or so deep outside of the turnstiles that go into the boarding area. We were the last people to get off the transfer bus because we had to wait for strollers underneath or else we prob. would have made it faster to the line. Once inside it didn't seem long at all, and of course the kids saw Mickey and Minnie and they were taking pictures by the (scaled down version) Magic and it got real exciting from there. Ahh...then I remember going thru gangway up to the ship and then they announce your family name when you get up there....soooo exciting!

Happy, My dauther Katie has finally been talking to Melissa on line! I think it's finally hit her that we are leaving next week! We have had so much going on with moving that all I've been doing is yelling at everyone :crazy2:
Oh, and it's funny how many girls there are in their age group and only 1 guy (Eric?). That should be interesting!
(Yamahaboy, how old are you, (if you don't mind my noseyness :rolleyes1 )

Hey, is anyone renting tuxes for dh or ds for formal night?

Oh and ya'll are talking about braces, well Katie is getting 2 teeth pulled this morning after having braces on for 18 mos.! Dopey ortho. didn't see the need initially to pull them, and after getting a 3rd opinion from 2 other orthos. last month, we switched DDS's. More $$$ and another 2 years of braces :sad2:
