I think I missed something about "posters"??? Are we supposed to be making something? I went on to the DCL site the other day and they still show availability for the July 1 cruise, I just don't know what the % is.

Nancy, we'll be at BCV also and I think Kacey e-mailed Melissa so maybe they could meet before we get on the cruise. We do arrive a little late so we probably won't make BCV until Friday around 7ish.

I think I'm having cruise anxiety - I had a dream last night that we were almost ready to go out the door and I hadn't done all my laundry yet.

Sheila

LOL on the dreams Sheila! :rotfl: Mine was that we got to the airport and they could tell our passports were renewals, and they wanted to know where we had been, when and why. WHAT?? :lmao:

Hey, we are having our 18th this year too!! August is our month. We had to get married in the hottest month of the year, and on a Friday to avoid any possible conflict with football. No kidding! ::yes::

26 days! Yikes, we still have some important shopping to do! :scared1: It's almost as bad as swimsuit shopping!

Patti

WOW-everyone must really be excited-i haven't been reading for a few days and had to read 3 pages just now to catch up!! :) Finished shopping for the most part, Ann Taylor had lots of things marked down, so that was nice.

One more week of school for us! :) Can't wait for some peace (i think the teachers want it more than the kids!)

We're staying at the holiday inn on Cocoa beach Thurs and Fri night, hope we don't have loud neighbors, I'm planning on disney dreams!! We've stayed there the other two times as well, and had good luck. So, I saw someone said they plan on being there around 10am--how about everyone else?

Michelle

We don't plan on getting there at 10am! No need to since we have our reservations and such taken care of. :thumbsup2
I believe we are getting picked up at our resort about 10:30am so should be there around 11:30am!

Looks like 1988 was a very good year for weddings!! Our anniversary is Oct. 15. :bride: :groom:

Yes Sheila, Melissa said Kacey e-mailed her. That would be cool if they could get together before the cruise. :cheer2: We are going to be in either Epcot or Magic Kingdom Friday night....whichever has the EMH that evening. Since we'll be up late, we figure we will probably be as leisurely as we possibly can on Saturday morning, before we head to Port. :car:

LOL Lisa on doing your shopping without your DD! There is NO way I would even attempt shopping for me with Melissa along......could not even begin to concentrate. And we won't even discuss trying on swimsuits with an audience. It was stressful enough just doing her!

We won't be up too early on Saturday....I've arrived at port around 12:00 a couple of times and waited a while, last time we got there around 2:00 and walked right on - I guess you never know how it'll turn out. I'd like to be on the ship by 1:00.

Is anyone doing brunch at Palo's? We have dinner ressies but their brunch is wonderful and I was thinking about looking into availability.

BTW - did I tell you Brianna got her license last week? :thumbsup2

Sheila

Congrats to Brianna! :moped:
Did your insurance DOUBLE like mine will when Alexa turns 16? :sad2:

We're doing dinner on Tuesday at 6pm but passed on brunch this time!
One of my sisters is doing the brunch this time because she never has in the past! :yay:

Oh ya, insurance is crazy. But Brianna is learning quickly how to appreciate a full tank of gas!

Congrats Brianna! :drive:

We did accomplish some shopping yesterday! We spent 5 hours shopping for 3 little items. :furious: It's taken care of now, and we can move on with the rest of the list. That was the last thing I needed to take the girls for - thank goodness!!

Don't need to panic anyone---chances of NASA actually going through with the launch is probably low. From what I hear, traffic can be devastating on the days of launches. I am planning to arrive early and hanging out at the local McDonalds. I get sooooo nervous before leaving for any vacation. The nerves usually subside when I finally reach the airport, train station, or whatever. That is what I get from years trying to fight traffic to the New York airports.

Ok--the rain continued until Sunday morning. Bad news--the roof did leak---good news---it didn't pour in and no damage to house. Yeah. We should hear today and the realtors are getting good vibes.

DH has decided not to bring his tux. Oh well. Part because it just doesn't fit in the tummy anymore. That is ok with me. I'll bring some dressy clothes that are more on the fun side of life and not so formal. Beaded top with black formal pants.

My kids get out of school the Friday before we leave. Good and bad. Keeps them out of my hair until then. Bad because the shopping hasn't started yet for them.

Deb

We fell to the bottom of page 2! :sad2: I'll boost us back up there.

Did it stop raining yet Deb? We had a chance of rain yesterday, in fact, it was overcast all day, but with our rain came the chance of "large hail and damaging wind". We can't have just rain! :confused3 We got nothing, but we need it. In fact, I need to check the sprinklers. I don't remember them coming on to ruin my shower today. :rotfl2:

I'm in the hunt for a good garment bag for the trip. I thought shopping for clothes was frustrating!

24 days!!! :dance3:

If anyone is going to WDW after the cruise, might you do me a favor? This LE pin is being released July 8, and I'd love to get a couple of them:

PM me and we can work out the details on the ship.

Thanks!

I looked at both of the Target stores on my end of town, and they didn't really have anything. Thanks for the suggestion! :teeth:

DH bought a great garment bag at JCPenney. He travels quite a bit to Belgium and needed a good one. It has wheels and a handle that pulls out. It weighs quite a bit, but it holds a lot.

Thanks! My mom is at the mall now, and I asked her to look for me. I'm surprised she hasn't called yet. She's been there over an hour. :confused3 Guess I will have to find time to get out there this afternoon, maybe after Sara's dentist appt.

Now, this is REALLY getting spooky!!!

First there are lots of Midwesterners. :cool1:

Then there are lots of Debs. :goodvibes

Now lots of 18 year anniversaries!!! Ours is September 24, 1988!!!

Oh, and lots of DIS'ers, too!!! :woohoo:

I ended up reserving a car today and cancelling DCL bus transportation. It was cheaper to do the car from the airport to BCV to PC....we can drop it off near the port and pick up a car on the following Sat. to go back to BCV. More money I can save on that type of stuff, the more I have for fun! :thumbsup2

Somehow there's never a lot of Sheila's :confused3 :)

Ah, 1988, a very good year. You should have seen my poor bridesmaids. I thought they looked hot. Jeez, what was I thinking? Are you ready? Pink lame (can't do the accent, but it's pronounced la - may, not lame). Of course looking back it was quite lame.

Of course now we have our ds5. Dear Mom and Dad thought we'd never have a child. Of course my DB is 34 and still not married. NYC firefighter girls. :firefight Single. Ok, he's dating somebody, but .....

Anyhoo. I just wanted to put us back on top of the page. Does anybody else look at the site just for the excitement of :dance3:  :cheer2: :cool1: :bounce: :woohoo: :wave2: party: the countdown?

We should have a special 18 year anniversary celebration!!!! :groom: :bride:

By the way, my parents are celebrating their 50th anniversary next week! Now THAT'S worth a celebration in this day and age!!! :dancer: party: :love2: :jumping1:
