Hi everyone!!!
We made it to Orlando yesterday!!! It was a good trip, no major turbulence (which is good because I don't like "bumpy air"!).
The challenges hit when we arrived.
DH went to the Budget counter to get our rental car - that he reserved THREE MONTHS AGO!!!! They didn't have one (with five people and five suitcases - we need an SUV). They had to call two other lots! It took almost an hour and a half to get the car to the airport!!!!
I was furious and the kids were devastated!!! We had scheduled princess makeovers at BBB for 4pm in preparation for the dinner with Cinderella at 6:30pm. We didn't leave the airport until after 4pm! (Let me tell you Greg, I was really wishing I had a local contact when I had to tell the girls that we might not make their appts.
) What a crappy start!
Once we finally got going though - things worked out. We got to BBB and they had a lull so they took the girls anyway. Caitie got an Alice costume and Alex got Sleeping Beauty.
And we made our dinner reservations only about 10 minutes late. So things worked out. But now I really need a vacation!
Which Target? Maybe we'll see you there???
I need a new swimsuit. Hoping they have something at DTD tomorrow. I meant to look yesterday - but as I mentioned things were a little chaotic.
I'm so glad he's feeling better! Have a great trip!!!
Welcome to the group! Looking forward to meeting you!
So Greg & Marcy - let's talk about these temperatures!!!
We were at rope drop today at MK - within 5 minutes my hair was sticking to the back of my neck, DH's shirt was soaked, and I had two DDs asking why it was already so hot! It was 104 in San Antonio - but we didn't sweat like that!!!!
We're doing nap time right now before heading back to MK for dinner and nighttime activities - hopefully it'll be less crowded and cooler. Come on T-storm!!!!
See y'all soon!

Is it really going to be your final list, though? Because I always have to make a Target trip the morning of... There's always SOMETHING.![]()

Oh yea, one time I think I forgot all my socks. Well, I've learned to be resourceful........but buying bathing suits on vacay is the worst! Actually, I think I did that twice!![]()

We had a close call. Nicholas got out of the hospital late last night because of a bug but because of his brain tumor history and being adrenal insufficient, his body has trouble handling small viruses. He went into an adrenal crisis and also developed lactic acidosis. He recovered quickly and we were given the all clear to travel....Close call...a couple days later and we wouldnt be cruising.
I'm so glad he's feeling better! Have a great trip!!!
As I answer house phone, work phone, print off documents, wash laundry, rack brain for "Now what am I forgetting?"
