July 18 Tortola cruise part 3

Hey if it was up to me you could wear anything you wanted!!:goodvibes

Mwa hah! Thanks! I always get so miffed when somebody walks in the restaurant on formal night in a pair of blue jeans and a t-shirt. I don't care that they do it. I just hate that they get to do it, and I dont. If *I* have to look pretty, then everyone has to look pretty. :)

And here's one more for ya.. The Magic pulling away.

Rain on Sunday - WHO CARES about Sunday!

Our flight leaves at 7 AM tomorrow for Orlando, arriving 9:18 AM:cool1::cool1:
we will PROBABLY leave our house at 3:30 AM (it truly is only a 1 hour and 15 minute drive to the airport) because we ARE on vacation when we arrive safely at the airport! I haven't been sleeping lately, due to EVERYTHING on my mind, won't have a problem getting up tomorrow!:banana:

Good Luck BomaJack with that pirate next Saturday. pirate: we will not be taking a computer to Disney, one less person to worry about. :cool1::cool1:
Safe travels to LuLU..............:cool1:

I love that dress! You sure did get a great price on it!

Joanne- I love the pics! The girls are so cute!

You guys are scareing me about the guys dress code. We have a suit for DH for formal night and then dockers and a polo or a button down shirt for the "cruise casual" He doesn't have a sports coat. Is that ok? :confused3

I think we are all packed:thumbsup2 Just the personal stuff the morning of.

I think I have found someone to actually take us to the airport at 5AM!!! YES!!! Our nieghbor said she would do it!!! Now that means that we can sleep for 30 extra minutes, not have to worry about parking or paying for a week at the parking lot! :cool1: I'll still need my coffee when I check in though! :dance3:

Oh, how can I concentrate on work this week? It's going to be tough.

Ooopsie! Awkward! :scared:

That was okay, we knew you were just saying it was a nice dress...

Actually, we thought it might be a nice prom dress also. The blue is not exactly that deep of a blue. So, I thought - if she goes to prom in her junior year (next school year), then she can wear this dress. Her senior year I know she will want a new dress, but maybe, just maybe I could talk her into wearing this one if she does not go her junior.

I am just excited that we found something in the first 10 minutes of getting to the mall (the first store we went to was the store we found in the dress in), that we both liked, and DH liked.... and was in her price range. We went to 7 other stores after that and we said - lets go back and get the blue dress.

Now, I am all done packing, EXCEPT for the few things that have to be packed on the last day, and the dress....

DH is wearing his suit on formal night/palo and then dockers and polos for the rest of the week. Your husband will be fine! You will see a range of tuxes and suits on formal night, it's not a problem!

.

The sports coats were for semi-formal night and probably Palo brunch. Otherwise, greg will weara suit on format night and Dockers/button up shirt every other night.

No need to panic!

OK, can I vent?

Our A/C went tonight. Yep, dead and gone. :sad2: And yes, it was seriously hot today and so it's feeling a bit uncomfortable this evening. We were able to line up a service call for tomorrow morning which is good news, but now I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. You know, the great BIG shoe that will come along with said serviceman. The really, really great BIG shoe that speaks and will say, "sure, we can fix it, but it's gonna cost ya serious bucks."

Please, oh please, let this be a quick and relatively inexpensive fix. Can't leave town with it broken (can we?) and we certainly don't want to shell out a fortune right before this trip.

If anybody has some spare pixie dust just sitting around unused, please feel free to send it our way. I have a feeling we're gonna need it.

Oh, how can I concentrate on work this week? It's going to be tough.

I agree... we have Powerpoint this week... I'm having the kids bring in 15-20 pictures of them from infant to now. They will have to put together a 15-20 slide power point of "All about me". That will be Monday and Tuesday. (along with 2 quizzes and 2 tests - one each on Monday and one each on Tuesday).

Then Wednesday/Thursday they will have to present their porject to the class - This will be a test grade. It will also be the last grade I will record except for the final.

Friday and Monday I have a sub (a teacher I work with) and they are doing a bunch of small projects to "keep them busy", I mean to reinforce all that I have taught them in the last 23 days, along with the final.

All my sub will have to do is go online, look at the final grades - put them in the gradebook (all on-line), submit and summer school is done.

Even with all that happening, I have a feeling this work week is going to
c-------r--------a-------w-------l slower than molasses moves down a slanted board....

Here's some pixie dust for you. I hope it can be fixed, pixiedust:

Thanks for reassuring me! :thumbsup2 We do have a Palo Brunch scheduled, I'm assuming that the dockers would be ok.

What she said. :) That's exactly the same outfits I'm wearing, and only because I have to... I haven't worn a tux since my first cruise on our honeymoon.

That was okay, we knew you were just saying it was a nice dress...

Since I'm a guy, I'm not allowed by the Guy Code to simply say, "My, that's a very nice dress." It's what separates us from women... For us, a dress is either "smoking hot" or "blurgh" with really very little to differentiate the two. And if we DO say something is nice, it's usually because we really don't like it and we're trying to avoid a fight. :)

And I should state for the record that Marcy completed our FE tonight, and she did a fantastic job! She's much craftier than she lets on.
