I just got my AP class from last year scores on their exam...

I had 83% of my kids get either a 4 or a 5, and 88% get a 5,4, or a 3 (3 is the lowest passing grade)....

I am so excited for my kids!!!!!

My goal for next year is to get 90% of them passing!

Now I can go on vacation!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! As someone who overloaded on APs in high school, major kudos to you for being such a great teacher and caring so much about your students! 20 plus years later, I can still remember all of my AP teachers (except BC Calculus -- I think I've long blocked that one out of my head) but don't remember many of the others.

What are the odds? We are in coach but Matt is in "first class".

How did he end up in first class and leave the rest of you behind??

I just checked Orlando weather (again) 93 for Thurs & Fri. but feels like 108????

It's pretty sticky this week. We lost power at my office yesterday for 30 minutes and it was enough to leave me feeling icky the rest of the day because the AC never caught back up.

Is your child a boy or a girl? We have a lot of kids in the 9-11 range on this thread. We're hoping to hook them all up on deck 10 when we set sail.

Those three are the only post-July 1 ones I know of. Thank goodness I made extras!

I was so confused when i saw Boma Greg not Boma jack - I had to go back a few pages - thought you had a brother!!

We realized that it was going to be so hard to remember everyone's names and his screen name was making it even harder.

I still have not finished magnets or compiled my FE gifts. I may have to do that on board. ANyone want to help?

I used double sided magnets this year and stuck them on cardstock printouts. It was so much easier than using the magnet sheets.

We had a close call. Nicholas got out of the hospital late last night because of a bug but because of his brain tumor history and being adrenal insufficient, his body has trouble handling small viruses. He went into an adrenal crisis and also developed lactic acidosis. He recovered quickly and we were given the all clear to travel.... Close call...a couple days later and we wouldnt be cruising.

Oh my goodness -- how scary. I'm so glad he's better and well enough to travel. I'm sure that you already travel with everything you could possibly need, but if you need anything between the time you get to Florida and when we board the ship, please don't hesitate to let me know. (PM me if you want my cell phone number.) We can bring anything you need to the port, and almost always do a Target run right before we leave for the port.

I haven't the slightest idea - we had vouchers and Mike used his mileage to get Matt's ticket free. They said we were in coach and gave Matt first class.
