Hi: Yep we're still going. Me (Cheryl) and DH (John) celebrating my 50th birthday. If help is needed anywhere as far as organizing, let me know.

Just a thought, what about listing the pre-cruise meets, brunch information, and any other stuff in the first post? It might be easier to reference and add names/info/events. Who started the thread, would you be willing to update?

The family is getting excited about the cruise, I've been peppered with questions. My parents will be at the Radisson. Anyone who would like to meet in the lobby Friday night, Dad already was asking if there were plans to meet. He's getting into the spirit. We'll have two teachers in our group - my friend who is a H.S. Biology teacher and my father a retired HS math teacher (still a jr college instructor), they'd love to exchange stories!!! Even though we will be at the Ron Jon with my db, dsil, and dn(7) we'll join too!

I've also given them the link to the thread - I'll have to behave - they just might show up

I agree, Monica, we should organize all our pre-meets and actual meets on the first page...............anyone remember where we're meetinig on the ship? If not, I'll call something and see if it's okay with everyone!!

Happy Sunday Everyone......I can't believe how much I had to read through to catch up. Busy, busy, busy. I haven't even hda time to think about the cruise this past week. My DS was doing tech for "Cinderella" at the HS which required me to make a couple of batches of cupcakes. My DD had an outdoor soccer tournament (which they won ), an indoor soccer game (also won) at 9 PM last night. Plus dealing with daylight savings time and a 9 AM soccer game. It was like leaving home at 6 AM. We are dead tired - especially the girls. And this was the first time my face has been in the sun since the fall and I look like a racoon. Of course I need to renew my driver's license tomorrow. And my DS has a fever.

I guess I'll go back to reading the different posts or take a nap .

Hi all,

Just back from the Houston's big event the annual Livestock show and Rodeo. Didn't go to the Rodeo today, just wandered the livestock show. We sat in one of the other arenas and watched the team cutting horse competition for awhile.

Tickets sold out very quickly for today's rodeo and featured performer(s). Some group called the Jonas brothers We went early this morning to avoid the crowds and left as it was getting packed. Tons of preteens with their homemade signs and t-shirts streaming in to the grounds as we were leaving.

We love going to the rodeo - great action and a big-name concert for about $20. We're not country fans so if I can recognize the performing line-up, they are big country stars.... (Brooks and Dunn, Reba, ZZ top, to name a few...) Can't beat that!

Do we have a list anywhere of who all is participating in the Fe exchange? I'm starting to get my gift together and not sure how much of each item I need to buy or make.

After all the snow last Sunday and Monday we are getting a glorious taste of late spring. I'm sitting here in shorts and a t-shirt and flip flops. It won't last but it sure is nice right now.

My son and and daughter-in-law and her mom (who was visdtng from Fla. )were at the rodeo Saturday night. My son said they had a great time. He couldn't get over how big Reliant Stadium was. They also saw Trace Adkins in concert.

My mom and I are leaving tomorrow for Virginia My sister's (who coming on the cruise with us) 50th birthday is on Wednesday and the only thing she wanted was for my mom and I to spend her birthday with her. Little does she know that her husband is throwing a surprise party for her on Friday.

So Mom and I are taking the train to Washington,D.C. where my sister will pick us up and we'll drive 3 hours to her farm in Lexington,Va. My husband, son and daughter are driving down Friday to be at her surprise party and we'll drive back with them on Sunday. I really hipe she has no idea what's going on this weekend.

OK I was thinking about what we will be celebrating with our WDW/cruise trip. There is my brothers birthday which is the first of July but we will celebrate while there. I will actually finish my masters degree while on the ship so definitely will be celebrating that. Obviously just being able to go to WDW and cruise is reason alone to celebrate but today i found out I have one more reason...... I GOT THE JOB !!!!!!! I'm so excited a little nervous about switching at almost the end of the year and will miss the kids I have now but I'm still really excited!
